CHAPTER 85-86

Not expecting to chat with MZ till 11, SQS straightforwardly pointed it out. MZ pretended to be surprised, after all they changed few topics so he was aware, but bid farewell. SQS called HC back explaining HC the situation, first HC caught that SQS called MZ 'Brother Meng' and the second was about the late time, HC asked SQS not to talk till this late with MZ in the future to which SQS agreed. HC hurried him to rest and the short conversation came to an end with that after wishing each other 'good night'.
The next morning he participated in the opening ceremony, the PR team sent the posts with photos and several names which SQS forwarded with the message of new role new beginning, which made fans cheer for his development and wondered how he got such resources so soon. Some were happy, some questioned if he has the qualifications, others said it is just a good luck, since the moment he blew up he appeared uninterrupted, and others wished him good luck, since the second is the movie after an idol drama.
SQS had lunch with the team before preparing to film. The movie is a crime-themed one, telling a story of a murder cases that appeared one after another in a pretty calm city, the character of MZ playes the senior who tried to crack the case and find the connection. AT the same time his apprentice, played by SQS was one step ahead of his master, but before he had the chance to inform his master of the murderer he became the target of the murderer himself. Before he died he desperately tried to leave hints, but the senior who was hit hard with grief overlooked it at first. It was not only until later he discovered those hints to follow the killer. Their characters had a play together where Luo Yi (SQS) asked why Li Haiyang (MZ) doesn't allow Li Lang become a police officer, but Li Lang explained it's because he lost parents to this line of work, so he was afraid same happening to him. Therefore Luo Yi's death was a devastating blow to Li Haiyang, since he was most afraid of losing people and the life of his apprentice ended at the age of 23. When reading this scene in the script SQS didn't ask who played the brother, but it happened to be the protagonist of the book. He thought that now that protagonist is here he might as well pack up, assist and go offline. But it all depends on HC's attitude. If the two of them fell in love at first sight, he would go directly off the assembly line and wish them a beautiful love. If the entanglement is long, he can also help them get together, after all they were filming together now. SQS thought if he should mention about dissolving their car friends relationship, but from other point it was too abrupt, they just hugged each other yesterday and brining this up is too much, HC might think he hooked up with someone and it's not good. SQS was holding his head, feeling that he had to think of a suitable solution.
SQS had two plays with MZ, after finishing he returned with Jianming before being ready to eat. Now that he is more free he can think of what to do with HC while his wife is online now. HC sighed thinking that it's not as good as the real person. After thinking of his time he felt he can finish work on Friday and surprise SQS. SInce SQS thinks of him, it's better to surprise him. He poked the small figuring saying how kind he is to SQS.
MZ who finished filming initially wanted to find SQS for tomorrow's play, but then remembered it was late already.
SQS dreamed how HC refused to talk to him no matter how he tried, when he woke up it was 7 in the morning and thought if it was the result of his thoughts.
MZ who came in saw SQS sitting in his seat wrapped in light, he came closer to greet and asked if he memorized the lines, which of course SQS did, so MZ asked to go through the line reading. Finishing the scene with MZ, SQS saw BJ sitting alone and walked closer asking why he came so early, not to mention that BJ had no plays today at all. BJ softly answered that he came to watch MZ and take notes from the Director Zheng and his guidance. SQS complimented him for his seriouness, but BJ said he just wanted to learn more when he was idle and it will be good for him. SQS looked at BJ who is indeed a very comfortable look, not aggressive, and looks very gentle. Although it may not be too dazzling at first glance.

This protag is so meh, after powerful SQS his meek personality is so meh. Tbh I don't like meek characters, especially one like him, it is pretty obvious that his character is against SQS who came into entertainment with a stong foot and a firm goal, unlike BJ (lol, I just now realized how perverted shortening of his name sounds) who is as if waiting for someone to push further. But I believe with SQS's personality even if he was half as handsome he still found himself in the entertainment industry.

CHAPTER 99

SQS finally figured out where the 80% of misunderstandings came from. According to HC's character, even if BJ didn't take the chance to explain his lack of confidence, there should not be so many misunderstandings and setbacks. SO he must have been angry and disgusted and even proposed the break up, but unlike his easy leave from YJY, at that time he already liked BJ. So on the one hand he liked him, but on the other hand he hated him. And because of this his feelings were unstable and all cannon fodders like YJY, original owner and others continued to add to it, which added more twists and turns. HC probably was open-minded and accepted love that didn't have a great start and was willing to spend his time/life with BJ. There are ups and downs in the story, but are they necessary? As he walked in he saw SQS with the herione of the movie, noticing HC SQS wondered how is he so early today, it was only 10 in the morning, but HC didn't bother them, waitig for the filming to end. Ater finishing the scene HC asked if he has many scenes today, SQS showed him his notice that had only another two in the afternoon and he was free afterwards. HC offered to eat and deliberately sold misery saying that he didn't have a breakfast. SQS said to go it, so they left, with Jianming and XL accompanying. Worrying that SQS can't have a long break he directly drove to the hotel. When they entered restaurant and were ready to order they saw BJ coming in. BJ was happy to see HC, but remembering what SQS told him he deliberately greeted HC when passing by. Before HC could answer out of politeness he heard SQS asking indifferently - Are you blind? I'm sitting here and you don't bother even to say 'Hello'. His words not pleasant, and his tone even more so. BJ's face changed when he was stabbed like this. HC was especially surprised. BJ whispered that he thought SQS didn't want to talk to him. To which SQS answered that he was right, he really didn't want to talk to him, so go away. BJ never expected he would talk like that trampling on his dignity. He looked at SQS aggrievedly, sad, forbearing, embarrassed and pitiful. SQS asked indifferently - Why are still standing here? SQS said that not anymore, he is not worthy! HC repeatedly agreed that of course he can't like him, he is such a flashy person, of course he prefers SQS's gorgeous appearance and personality. HC looked at SQS thinking that he was cute. He put on disposable gloves and started to peel shrimp. SQS saw him do that and thought HC wanted to eat shrimp, so he didn't think much. It wasn't until HC put the plate with peeled shrimp in front of him saying gently - But I haven't peeled shrimp for anyone, so you are the only one.



Yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh I feel those pink bubbles. They're so good together! So really sweet and really fitting each other like no one else. SQS haven't realized that he was most accomodating HC, unlike BJ who is just a taker.
My thoughts on BJ are actually half-censored, since there's too much cursing. But I haven't seen such unconsciously cunning person in a forever. He basically waits for others to pursue himself, so he won't be the one to blame in case he ever will be asked, while power dynamic between statuses is so different. Having an excuse 'it wasn't me who started it' in case he is questioned. The dangerous part of his self-delusion is that others won't understand him, but as if the world revolves around him. Protag halo gone wrong. But in one thing BJ is correct, HC's status is different, but what makes him think he can inetrfere when he says he is afraid. Such a hypocrite. 

CHAPTER 91-98

(I apologize that I will shorten this part a lot, I suggest you to find the novel and MTL it if you haven't read it yet, it's really fun and quite easy to understand)
Anyway HC had a fight with SQS. HC asked for a reason, since he never did anything he would feel sorry for. SQS's reason for break-up was to fall in love. SQS explained that he'd feel sorry for the future partner, if he was still with HC, but tried to fall in love. HC guessed it had something to do with MZ and SQS's refusal of his intimacy these days. SQS admitted to it. But HC still couldn't understand why he chose him of all people. They had known each other for so long and everything was fine, but after just few days because of MZ he suggested to break their relationship. SQS actually admitted that he was not in love with MZ, he just wanted to try knowing someone, he can't be a rider with HC forever and thought MZ is nowhere near HC, but he has time to find those things out. But HC couldn't understand the process, after all just few days ago they bid farewell, SQS called him and said he missed him, but now this, he questioned him why he never considered his own feelings in this matter at all. He added works, rode for several hours, just to sit on the same bed and listen to break-up proposal. SQS asked if it would be better with time. HC looked at obvious sadness of SQS and never thought that one day SQS will show such a look because of him. He suddenly felt pointless. With YJY who wanted to enter their circle in the end he teased him, but confessed love to his brother. Now SQS with whom he shared so much and thought he was good and sensible now with MZ on the line in just few days he wants to break up. Whats the use of wishful thinking. He promised to end it, dressed up and left. SQS knew from his tone HC was angry, but had no idea how to comfort him. HC wished him well and ignored his call and left, with SQS sitting on the bed silently, with so many debates in the past he couldn't say anything now.
HC who entered the elevator saw BJ, but said not to talk to him when BJ tried to say something, they arrived at the parking lot and BJ actually tried to follow, but HC who finally noticed asked him what he tried to do. BJ tried to say he was worried, but HC lashed back asking who he was to him to worry about him. HC was too angry to bother at this moment. He angrily drove away. BJ sent SQS message asking why HC was in such a mood. SQS didn't bother to answer, since his own heart was in turmoil.
HC drove really fast, but he stopped on the sidelines, since he knew if he rushed again with this mood there will definitely be an accident. He stopped and smashed the steering wheel angrily thinking why SQS was like this when he definitely shouldn't be like this. He took his phone wanting to vent and called the only suitable person.

HC told about their siatuation calling SQS heartless, told about SQS wanting to fall in love with MZ. But BXG who still had no idea of their rider relationship looked at it as HC chasing SQS, but when hearing HC saying that he wasn't in love with SQS called him a scumbag in return. HC felt a headache and subconsciously asked what it's like to fall in love, but BXG who heard it retorted he should ask the underage him who was never in love before. But he basically retold what he remembers from the movies with loving and kissing, heart beating stronger, and wanting to be with the other person, missing each other when not together, getting angry if their person holds hands with other people. HC listened to it and it basically described his relationship with SQS. HC asked if it was it, but BXG said it's about harmony.
HC thanked him, his mood improved, he thought about it seriously. BXG said that with HC calling him in such an anger, then it must be HC liking SQS after all and he is not indifferent, so the better get together then.
HC hung up and thought about everything. SQS did not like MZ and he wouldn't lie  about such things, so basically he wanted to break the relationship for the love itself and HC who did not follow the same route couldn't ask SQS not seeking love as himself. If SQS was less moral he would not break with HC and start with MZ while he had relationship with HC. But SQS is not that type, he wants things fair. At this point HC finally calmed down and analyized all the things that happened these days. If he thought about it SQS's actions were obvious, all the reading of the Red Luan star, would he fall in love, would he remember his rider etc. And even the poe he recited, he finally understood why he recited it, since HC said he would forget his riders and SQS knew that he would forget about him when they separate. He was sure that HC would not want to fall in love, he will not fall in love with him and he would forget him. So he did not find what he was looking for and wanted to move on. SQS who saw himself with red eyes thought it's good they're nto swollen, but he still took cold towel and was trying to fall asleep when he heard a knock on the door. He tried to ignore the knock but the knock persisted, SQS tried to listen to his phone when he saw HC calling him, HC asked to open the door. SQS really saw HC behind the door. HC saw SQS's obviously red eyes, so he really didn't sleep, if he slept it would be SQS he didn't know. HC stated that he cried, SQS tried to excuse himself that he was only reading the script, which made HC remember the night when he fell asleep but then woke up to see SQS with red eyes obviously crying but again excusing it as reading the script. But HC thought he might have thought of separation back then and thought SQS had a knack for making him feel distressed. He came in and SQS who saw his indifference noticed the change in HC's mood. HC asked if he wants to fall in love and that he doesn't like MZ, but MZ meets the standards. SQS nodded to this. So HC proposed to fall in love with him instead. SQS knowing the fate of BJ refused and said they're not suitable, which HC couldn't understand and asked to explain, after almost half a year together he thought they were really suitable in many aspects, in their every day life and intimacy. He doesn't mind his family, doesn't mind what SQS can't do. And compared MZ to poverty alleviation program compared to HC's condition. SQS said he was just his rider he would forget anyway. HC confessed that this relationship was first for him, there were no riders before SQS, he lied just to save some face. HC asked if SQS was afraid fo HC not being serious? But with MZ he didn't even know for several days he was okay. HC asked SQS what he was afraid of in the end? In the end SQS converted reading the book as seeing a dream, so explained that he saw them two meeting in spring and falling in love, HC tolerates every misunderstanding between them because of this. The same happened in real life of them meeting again and again. HC couldn't understand it, since SQS didn't dream about them being together but him and BJ, this is like feudal supersticion. He also said he knew that SQS had this knot in your heart, so if we don't untie it, it won't make things clear afterwards, he is willing to untie it, because he knew SQS was afraid he wouldn't fall in love with him, SQS wanted to protect himself. So he agreed to meet BJ and have a meal, but only with the three of them, so SQS should see for himself if there is fate between them. SQS thought of unnecessary misunderstandings HC might have. HC saw SQS's sad face and knew that SQS had only good intentions for him and cared about him a lot. He was always tolerant, they never fought in past six months. HC was sure that would save him no matter what and even if both of them fall into water SQS will make sure HC will reach the shore first. SQS woke up with his heart still beating and looked at sleeping HC. Even though it was early, but SQS had filming and HC also woke up, even if they slept pretty late and wanted to follow SQS to filming to solve the whole BJ situation.

The entered the private box with BJ ending a call with someone and eagerly welcoming them, when both sat down BJ called for the waiter and the two ordered the dishes, HC ordered what they both liked with SQS and two signature dishes on top. Waiter went down leaving a pot of tea, which BJ picked up to pour for the three of them, and toasted HC with his tea for helping him, HC said anyone would do the same, so there is no need for thanking him and sipped a bit, SQS didn't drink. HC asked why he was always alone when he saw him, what about assistant or agent? BJ said he had no assistant for a little actor like himself and his agent had not only him, he just sent him to filming and that was it. Seeing HC opened for talking BJ asked about his visiting class. HC basically praised SQS for his great filming abilities and people around praising his skills. BJ said that indeed they were the same age, but SQS was much better than himself. After the meal it was already late evening. HC wanted to take SQS back before leaving, since he had work. But SQS knowing BJ was alone and would take a taxi asked to take him together with them, since they were from the same crew. SO basically SQS gave HC the apple that he wanted, since he knew that HC would want the apple, even if mangosteen in his other hand was better and more delicious. Bu tow he didn't want to give him this apple. Because BJ was too passive and had little will to explain things. SQS quietly listened to the melody on the radio and at one moment turned his head to look at HC and saw that HC looked back at him. SQS told him to watch the road, but HC joked it's not his turn to say about this (SQS's marvelous driving skills). SQS looked at his laughter and childishness and thought if he is with BJ, would he be the same? With so many misunderstandings and taking intiiative, will he be able to stay the same? He asked HC if he liked himself now to which HC said what he was asking, didn't he like himself now? SQS asked if he would like to mature, withstand misunderstanding and such. HC asked then why won't he be twin to his brother, but SQS was left speechless, thinking his brother isn't like that at all. HY would definitely not want the apple like BJ. In SQS's thoughts HY would definitely not cause HC problems, even if he didn't like BJ, his attitude towards BJ in the novel was ordinary, but he might have seen his own brother bowing his head again and again and his opinion of BJ wouldn't have been the best. And the only reason he kept himself from turning it into a dog blood drama was his love for HC. Gradually SQS's thoughts became clearer, unlike HY he would throw away this type of apple, he can replace this ordinary apple with his outstanding mangosteen. Especially now when HC is young and is more interested in his mangosteen brother, than the apple.

HC gave him few days to think and SQS agreed, from SQS's tone HC could hear that SQS was ready to let go of that dream. HC promised to come back saying who made his wife wanting him to be with others, saying dramatically that it was too cruel. SQS said he still thinks about them two, but HC asked him with a wink to think not only about him, BJ and YJY, but also about them two. SQS ashamed was about to exit the car, but HC caught him back.
SQS asked if there was anything else, but HC said of course there is and asked to keep away from MZ while he is not there. HC basically turned out the old accounts saying that he now wants to fall in love with himself, so there's no way thinking about other people. SQS want to walk away, but HC warned if he comes and sees something that he shouldn't see then he will definitely present him with a cage. SQS was speechless, but HC smiled and said 2 meters of pure gold, especially suitable to place in the room, if you won't like the pattern he will hire someone to change. And will also engrave his novel on the bars and will recite it. Saying that who made SQS want to leave. Both were even, HC was even a little dissatisfied with such turn of craziness and things turned back to him, but still asked to think about their relationship. Otherwise when you get home it will be time when the cage will arrive, HY even will sponsor it. They bantered about HY and the cage with HC basically lifting a rock and hitting his own foot with the cage stuff. But it made HC remember that SQS actually hadn't worn the necklace, but SQS was a bit guilty, when HC left he took it off. In his room after vath SQS was thinking of the way he received the plot, the plot was more like the outline of the story, he knew about the time of meeting, prodigal son HC falling, misunderstandings coming, but with thorny path the end will be complete. But he had no idea that beyond the outline there will be a character like BJ who didn't liek to take time to explain but he did think others would not understand him. SQS also had no idea that the whole exes of HC was also a fiction and the same goes for the romance. Now SQS wondered what else could be hidden behind the outline. Anyway he decided that by tomorrow night he still thinks that BJ is not suitable, then he will simply replace the apple. After all HC was not so deep to be impressed by BJ and the damage would be minimal. If he can guarantee that HC is happy after the exchange. SQS realized that he basically follows the same path, he was basically ready to separate HC and BJ for good. But is the original drama irreversible? SQS analyzed how he didn't want to escape in a dream, but instead was choosing a cage. He had breakfast and Jianming and XL and now that with HC gone and the scale crooked he came to MZ, MZ felt what it was going to be about, SQS had given the endorsed chips he received and thanked MZ for his feelings for him, he thanked for being a great senior etc., but he was sorry that he could not accept them. He thanked for liking, for waiting for his answer, he admitted that he has someone he cares about and wished MZ to meet someone who will also care about MZ. At the moment of 'is I met you earlier' SQS felt that actually he and HC was same fateful, after all SQS met HC much earlier. They were pretty predestined since he crossed at the time before HC met BJ. SQS said MZ willd efinitely meet the right person who is more suitable than him and bid farewell. SQS and MZ regained the previous relationship of seniors and juniors, but without much personal connection. SQS was happy that they would not embarrass each other, he didn't want that, they still had work together. Fortunately MZ was not a person who entangles. As he approached he heard two voices and one belonged to BJ. Coming closer SQS saw two people, the speech was quite close and the content of the argue was one person trying to explain things, but BJ not buying it and being suspicious. Before he could come closer he was noticed and what he saw made an anger surge on the surface like an avalanche. He felt cold in his heart, clenching his fists. What kind of shitty novel is this? SQS sneered inside, but collected his emotions, but the closer he got the more guilty he felt for those things he previously did were for nothing, but for this. BJ saw a flash of coldness in SQS's eyes. SQS calmly asked if someone was making trouble for BJ. SQS asked if it was a friend, but saw a trace of guilt that flashed past through BJ's eyes who nodded. Sun Jun saw him nodding in disbelif and asked BJ is this what he took him for for all these years?! SQS just stood close and watched them tossing. One wanted to leave, other wanted him to stay, one wanted to talk, the other said they have nothing to talk about. Infinite loop. BJ asked to respect him, he has filming to do looking aggrieved. SJ felt helpless and let him go. He didn't answer to request of talking after filming. He took SQS and turned to the filming set. SQS waited before they were at some distance before asking if it is an ex-boyfriend, because they didn't act like simple friends. BJ tried to say something, but in the end didn't, with SJ they were friends, roommates and he liked the ambiguousness between them. Can he refute? But it's all in the past. SQS took his hand away and BJ saw him looking at himself with a smile but coldness in his eyes, something that he hasn't seen in SQS before. SQS asked BJ what did he feel about HC? BJ panicked and wanted to say that's not what SQS thought, but said he didn't put HC and SJ together, he treated HC only as a firend and benefactor. But how could SQS believe this poor excuse? With BJ spending so much time talking with HC. SO he asked if he treated him like that wouldn't he think that just an actor was okay to be friends with HC then? But he caught BJ's guilty consciousness when he asked this. It was all too obvious and also BJ was frustrated that SQS noticed his thoughts. SQS who saw SJ who was three points similar to HC. BJ tried to excuse they were just friends. Maybe there was something, but now they're just friends. SQS asked why he didn't explain it then when he had the chance? BJ excused it as SJ would not listening to him if he did. That's why SQS asked so now he want to find someone who will listen to him? BJ anxiously tried to refuse he wasn't like that about HC, but SQS did not let him go. BJ looked in a daze at SQS thinking why he should report about his feelings, even if he liked HC so what? Why SQS cares about these things? What qualifications does he have to ask? In this manner his tone changed to a cold one asking without a trace of respec saying that this is his own business and he has no need to tell him everything. SQS chuckled at this and sai that of course he doesn't need to, but BJ really surprised him. BJ didn't like his tone of voice and said that even if he is on good terms with HC he shouldn't talk to him like that. SQS said he was just telling the truth. He looked coldly at BJ and declared that no matter what he thought of HC, you will never have an opportunity to speak to him again. BJ looked dissatisfied openly asking what qualifications does he have to intervene. But SQS asked him to see if he does, he told him to see if HC will care about him at all. HC wasn't a tool to play. Wasn't YJY enough?! The friend treated him as a stand-in, now the protagonist also treats him as a stand-in! Can't HC simply be himself, be loved and not be the shadow of comeone else! Disgusting!



I said that whenever SQS finds out about the stand-in he'll be queen, he'll be fire, he'll protect his cub like lioness.
I decided to put all this out, because I was too behind and still spent several hours summarizing :'D 

I am not saying SqS is wrong just comparing him with other author mcs ..
I get sqs point (plus he is young and innocent in love so at that age you believe in" ever after " thing while people when they get mature doesn't care much abt that just like author other mcs plus they believe in talking according to their relationship, here sqs still believes hc is a old driver)
Original novel is wrong on many aspects like Hc is shown as a playboy yet he is just an innocent fellow.
I guess Sqs has to go through whole process to realise difference between real and novel. This problem is of many mcs and they need their "due process."

I think end of original novel would have been "breakup" of hc and bj as bj doesn't respect both hc and his true love. When u substitute someone you are disrespecting both persons and the relationship itself.(substitute genre is in my most hated ones list)

Bj doesn't even looks "is he worthy" for Hc . He is a taker in relationship he feels other owe him .dude everyone isn't your family . They are their own person.

I actually think this is pretty much possible, since the novel takes time to explore how ori SQS progressed their feelings, but it is also possible for Sun Jun to come into the picture and HC being hit by that. Because basically there is our biggest green tea who used HC for his brother, but now there will be the second person who used him as a replacement. I feel sad for HC too, he is such a god personality.
Although SQS is always vigilant of such things, but I guess he is too pre-occupied by the who 'protagonist' thing to actually evaluate the person, so far he judge him only by 'fate', but he never evaluated him from the point of the plot and character, although! he mentions that BJ's uncertainty and low self-esteem is a problem. But he writes it off only because he knows that ori HC liked it and as long as HC likes it, it's good. 

Poor Hc lost on his first requirement that green tea bj obviously doesn't love him..of in future Sun jun appears (in ori) bj would have left hc .
Same thing happened in author previous novel(school idol is sweet) where mc believed himself and ml as straight and ml believed mc as gay and bent himself. Mc was busy coupling ml and fl but bam he got 2nd part of novel which was BE so mc was like a mama bear protecting his cub .
