Glad I came back and read the Mangastream translation. Seriously, Naruto want to patch things up with Sasuke, but what has he done really?

"Sasuke you can't do this."

"Sasuke you don't understand Itachi at all."

"Sasuke we must unite."

"Sasuke-kun.."

He doesn't even bring any new points to the table at all.

Sasuke also has an idealistic view of his future village. "Pure white"? As long as people are alive, there will be hatred.

Also, as I understand it, he doesn't want to, but actually NEEDS to kill Naruto. Not because he contains the Chakra of the Tailed Beasts (Sasuke could easily extract that with his Rinnegan) but solely because he needs to stay impartial. In other words, someone who can clearly judge and execute any given Shinobi situation by having no ties with anybody, and Naruto being his best friend is against this mantra. I really like the logic there. It may be the reason why he placed that Genjutsu on Sakura hoping to transform her love to hate, and by killing Naruto he'll also have Kakashi turn against him in revenge too. He's basically cutting all emotional ties with the few people who've been somewhat family to him, so he can rule the world with some degree of objectivity with nothing holding him back. You really think that Sasuke thinks that he could severe his bond with Sakura and Kakashi just like that? Sakura ain't gonna turn 180 and hate on Sasuke, same as Kakashi. Sasuke should know damn well about that, after all this time. I was thinking that Sasuke doesn't really care about the other 2 lol.

i think kishimoto just let some things in the air so he can have multiples endings and he also let some mystery around, that's why this is one of the best manga! for example in the new game, NUNSR he revealed that orochimaru was an Akatsuki, what is the point with that??

I actually kinda thought he was crazy for saying that he wanted to be hokage and stuff since he has no chance of becoming a leader via democratic processes any more. A violent takeover is the only way.

Well that was already brought up, when he first announced it. Was pointed out by Shikamaru and I think Kiba. But Sasuke naturally doesn't care about their opinions.

He is the first character in the series, to give a new meaning and push down a new concept of a Hokage.

There was a time, where I realy waited for something like this, the final battle with Sasuke etc.

But I can't really feel it now, after all that crap we had to deal with for so long  :<Yeah, i feel no hype for this battle as well. I am more interested in the collision of Naruto and Sasuke's ideals of Hokage. I think this battle won't be as epic as people thought it to be, I know they will try to compromise and see how their ways of Hokage will play out. I know both of their ideals are unreachable imo.

So do you think the fight will be shorter than the Part 1 fight?the series is confirmed to end in 5 chapters so yes it will be dramatically shorter than the first one

This fight is not going to end before the movie date by the looks of how slow this chapter was.It looks as if the movie is not canon

He's acknowledged this once before, but it stills makes me sad that he still believes in a future without Naruto, although for a different reason this time.

I'm glad someone else remembers >.>

Normally I'm not a fan of Naruto's more dialogue heavy chapters, but I guess this one was rather necessary. But did the event's of the last 2 chapters really need to take 2 chapters?

I wonder what The Sauce's actual plan for the world is beyond just kill errythang
