Naruto Chapter 694 Discussion

I hope this is the last chapter where nothing happens.

No way this stuff is going to have a satisfying conclusion. It's been going everywhere with its plot and stuff doesn't even make sense half the time.

If this fight ends with the two of them being all buddy-buddy this shit is going to get like a 3/10 from me. Can't see the mangaka turning that into something believable.

Probably means that he feels that he cannot bear the burden of hatred himself if he has connections like that with people.

So Naruto will be Hokage and Sasuke will be the new Danzo. Great.

Yes, it's the 5 current Kages of the Shinobi world.



Sasuke's version of a Hokage and it's concept, needs to cut all past relations. And as Sasuke, put it, Naruto is the closest thing he had for a best friend. Naruto's ideals don't match with Sasuke's, so he will be something that stands against Sasuke's revolution and his vision of the future. That what he meant by cutting down the past, several chapters ago (it's made clearer and less subtle in the anime).



Naruto is trying to get rid of hate in the Shinobi world

Sasuke is acknowledging there will always be hate no matter what, and wants to shoulder it himself as a target, and fix what has been wrong in that system for decades, walk through the darkness and survive as he putted it.

great chapter, Sasuke's perspective was interesting.



Naruto has definitely improved from the previous chapters, I think this fight (+talk) is gonna be as great as the previous one in the final valley :D

I really hate the fact that Sasuke is trying to pull off a "lelouch" here. . .

I just don't get the movie is coming out in December and it clearly stated that its going to take place after the manga. So that gives about 8 chapters at most to finish everything? There is no fcking way kishimoto could end it all in 8 chapters so im puzzled. I have a feeling the manga may be on hold and then resume after the movie?



I mean we haven't seen anything on Orcohimaru yet, the last time we saw the rest of the alliance, they were trapped by the divine tree. We still haven't found out hardly anything bout Hamura's back story yet or if he's even going to be some key role in all this. Kishimoto would not just introduce him for him not to be a part of the story. Also We still need to learn the repercussions and the broader meanings of Naruto and Sasuke's conflict.



There is just no fcking way this manga is going to end by December. I just can't see that. Unless the time skip is just right around the corner and story shifts into a different era.
