Where was this stated? And yes, anything that isn't properly explained and happens just so damn conveniently is an asspull.
Whitey was made by aizen and is similar to an asauchi, so he fused with Ichigo's shinigami powers and became zangetsu.
So he is both his zanpakuto and the source of his hollow power.

Oh, so I'm an idiot because I don't like what you like and voice my complains about it? Well, ain't that a surprise. And I do understand what's good about Bleach. What's good about Bleach is how hilariously bad it actually is. Oh, by the way, this is coming from a person who used to hold this series in the highest regards, much higher than that of either of Naruto or One Piece.

*raises hand* I have a problem with that. Being a fanboy doesn't make your opinion the law of the land or better than anyone else's. From your posts it's quite obvious that you really, really love Bleach. From what you said in that comment, you find it to be miles and miles above and beyond the other two of the Big 3 and the close runners up. That is perfectly fine, if that's really how you feel then by all means keep feeling that way. Good for you.

It is, and always shall be, YOUR OPINION. An opinion is a view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
If you want to talk statistics, Bleach is nowhere near the Naruto/One Piece level. Bleach has sold somewhere around the 85 million mark, where as One Piece is the best selling manga of all time with sales around the 345 million mark and is followed by Dragon Ball with around 230 million and Naruto with around 205 million.
In a fan poll last year of the 20 most popular manga of all time Bleach ranked in at number 18, Naruto at number 7, and One Piece at number 1.
Now, these are just statistics and do not mean that your opinion is wrong. They are used here to serve only the purpose of demonstrating that your opinion is not the same as everyone else's opinions.
Calling someone an idiot for not agreeing with your opinion is quite childish and immature, it is not the behavior of a rational human being.
You actually show good knowledge of the series when you're defending it, you back your defense up with examples from the series almost every step of the way. That's the way it should be, but you have the tendency to throw your opinion in there as fact at times and I pointed out in one of my previous comments that when you look up the definition of "Asspull", Bleach is one of two anime named specifically as an example of the use of asspulls in manga/anime.
Now, as far as my opinion goes... I would rank One Piece ahead of both Bleach and Naruto in the Big 3, but I never cared for Naruto and actually really loved Bleach up until around the Fake Karakura Town crap. Naruto got too preachy for me with all the "talk no jutsu" crap, couldn't handle putting up with all that, so it was always near the bottom of my list. I would rank HxH right up there with Bleach, it kind of has suffered the same fate- starting out really freaking strong and then snowballing downhill. But, truth be known, Bleach is the only manga I'm still reading. I get my One Piece fix from the anime and only read the chapters from time to time to help fill in the blanks, and I dropped all of the others. I'm holding out with Bleach because I want to know how it ends, and I'm hoping we'll get some miracle and it'll become awesome again before it ends- but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Point A-After the Ichigo vs Kenpachi fight Yoruichi found Ichigo's mask and said that that thing protected him from Kenpachi's final attack. Then Ichigo stated that it also helped him in the fight against Renji but [that dude from the 4th squad] threw it away. Point B-It was the same mask that manifested on his face during the sessions with Urahara. Point C- During his debut Whitey-Hollow Ichigo-Zangetsu faced Ywach-Getsu and said "take care of him, soon his powers will be mine". The dots were all connected in the fight against Byakuya when Ichigo lost his sanity and the mask was matched to the personality of Whitey. Therefore there was sufficient foreshadowing.
Oh, damn.... I was meaning to write quincy powers. I have no idea how I mistook those two words.

Person A is about to murder Person B. Person B grabs a something to defend him/herself. You show up and disarm him/her from that something and walk away. You are now an accomplice in murder. Ywach never stated that he pulled the trigger against Masaki. He stripped her of her powers and , just like in the above example, is now an accomplice. Grand Fischer was the murderer, that much hasn't changed.
Yeah, I was kinda remembering wrong there. I was looking at the part where Isshin revenge killed GF and totally forgot the details later on. Not saying I liked the explanation, but meh. But has it been explained why Uryuu was spared? He's definitely of mixed-blood, after all.
