Because they're good doesn't mean that they can learn it overnight.
Come on. We've seen Yoruichi learning how to do that energy ball instantly(can exactly remeber what was that exactly, something about safe travel to the SS, guess they didn't have the Soul Tickets at time), we've seen Ichigo learning (not)bankai within days. Tessai and Hachi are Kidou's masters I think they are capable of learning that, this manga is all about quick progress. Add to that Yoruichi, Urahara(I know, unavailable) and some people that are kidou gods but we don't know about it yet.
I suspect trying to perfect that jutsu would be more useful than Hitsugaya's swordfight training @_@. And Nanao is kidou genius from now on. Probably that's why... she wasn't seen during Fake Karakura? I'm confused now x).

Exactly, that's why it was so frustrating not being able to see actual fights at that time.

3. It matter. If you have technique that you can use, let say, 5 minutes, and it takes lots of time to learn it you don't learn others. It's better to let them train in their own domain(like ice+sand ). She can teach guys like Mayuri or Byakuya(if he was there). Some captains would just waste their time.

2) You actually forgot that Shinigami spend years/decade learning how to do basic kido. Such specialized and irregular kido will not be learnt overnight and for 'normal growth' shinigami it might even takes weeks/months to use it to a comfortable level.
And you're forgetting that there are other characters that are quite skillful with Kido. Like Hinamori, Tessai, Hachi, Aizen(I know, he is not relevant right now, but you get the idea). It would be good to put them in some strategic positions in SS with that spell in hand. Some of the captains are quite good with it too. Someone mentioned that Unohana had "maxed" all statistics in some guidebook - now it would be good to use the data from it[I hope Kubo got the copy of such guidebook to his own characters]. I bet also Yoruichi(who taught Byakuya) is quite good with it.
