New enemies, of course trhey're overpowered, that's how Bleach rolls. Besides, these Captain have lost their Bankai, so they're weaker than they normally are, no wonder they're getting owned. But hey, at least they're getting the Bankai back soon. You know, great decision: Make them loose their Bankai and fail hard , just to give them their Bankai back a couple of chapter later. The captains relied too much on their bankai. They got their collective ass kicked because they were not expecting their bankai to be stolen. That's just the element of surprise.

If they find a way to retrieve it each time it's stolen then the Quincies will be fighting opponents at their best.

3/5: was ok, but Hitsugaya is a very boring character...

I hope that the Kido strategy of Nanao will really help a little and not being overwhelmed next chapter by a new power or only boring supermegapowers of a random enemy.

Even Urahara, ok I want Senbonzakura Kageyoshi back to Byakuya, but the others??? Hisugaya is useless, I prefer when Soi Fon is doing her best, with hakuda, hoho, shunko etc and her very deathly shikai...

Komamura's Bankai is okay but always the same, or maybe we will see something...?



And I also want to see the vizard and the vice-captains doing something useful.

3. It matter. If you have technique that you can use, let say, 5 minutes, and it takes lots of time to learn it you don't learn others. It's better to let them train in their own domain(like ice+sand ). She can teach guys like Mayuri or Byakuya(if he was there). Some captains would just waste their time.

3. We just saw in this chapter that Hitsugaya needed more time, so even if it was temporary, it would've helped leaps. In the end, all we saw was utter stupidity from yet another Shinigami.



ok you need to get something into your head and fast. you need special talent to master kido. and the kido nanao used is not a low level kido. she would've had a hard time developing it let alone teaching it to someone. have you ever seen toshiro or soifon use a  kido over 20? no. what will be the point of teaching it to him? and it's not like they had a whole year off after the previous invasion. not enough time. use your brain. it feels good to use what's inside your head. believe me.

And you're forgetting that there are other characters that are quite skillful with Kido. Like Hinamori, Tessai, Hachi, Aizen(I know, he is not relevant right now, but you get the idea). It would be good to put them in some strategic positions in SS with that spell in hand. Some of the captains are quite good with it too. Someone mentioned that Unohana had "maxed" all statistics in some guidebook - now it would be good to use the data from it[I hope Kubo got the copy of such guidebook to his own characters]. I bet also Yoruichi(who taught Byakuya) is quite good with it.

Agreed. And not to mention, when was the last time Kido's being useful? Wasn't it Urahara (an outsider) to capture Aizen years ago. We had discussion how Kubo disregarded this ability especially when needed, in earlier quincy invasion arc. did anyone properly used it when half of the captains lost their bankai. Byakuya is a kido master. Also Captain level shinigami's (except zaraki) should know some high level kidos because it is important at times like this when zanpaktou's are not really useful.

First Generation Kenpachi Captain Unohana need to take on them... Oh wait. she's dead in training. Well, where is Zaraki Kenpachi. Hope he will do something.



Urahara should've said. "I've just completed a method to defeat quincy". Bankai's are useless to begin with.



We know Hitsugaya is not going to die. Please no more chapters with drama.
