It was strong enough to finish him if it could hit head on.
As for people that might think Soi Fon is dead because her reiatsu disappeared i urge them to go to Chapter 549 and read Soi-Fons entry again.

Or just remember that reiastu disappearing means absolutely nothing in Bleach. It happens all the time and just means the character is badly injured or knocked out because Kubo has no balls when it comes to killing his precious characters.
This chapter was made of everything awful. Even worse than the last chapter where the fights were basically reset and now the captains are getting curbstomped again because Kubo can't right a compelling fight to save his life.

2) not everyone is strong with kido
3) and the most important it's temporal!
1. She just said that she was selected for her Kido prowess.
2. Agreed, but the captains should be good enough to use it.
3. Doesn't matter. They can use that time to recover or come up with a strategy.

I thought the same thing. When I first saw that, Ishida's pentagram trap was the first thing that came to mind.

1) bazz b is a fodder. lol, he is moping the floor with hitsu,
2) ichigo is coming to save them, lol, it's urahara,
3) sternritters are fodders, we will have a quickie and all the captains will win. lol, none of them are even close to standing up against them.
4) hitsu has used an ice clone, lol.
5) in chap 551 we are going to see a turn of the tide and bazz b will get one shot. lol. it's utter despair in the ss now.
now these blockheads are angry with kubo because their predictions all became null and void. those who are asking why quincies are winning so easily against these young captains- have not even tried to remember what has been said and implied in previous chapters of bleach. the power levels in bleach is not so confusing for those who have actually read it thoroughly.

Because they're good doesn't mean that they can learn it overnight.
Come on. We've seen Yoruichi learning how to do that energy ball instantly(can exactly remeber what was that exactly, something about safe travel to the SS, guess they didn't have the Soul Tickets at time), we've seen Ichigo learning (not)bankai within days. Tessai and Hachi are Kidou's masters I think they are capable of learning that, this manga is all about quick progress. Add to that Yoruichi, Urahara(I know, unavailable) and some people that are kidou gods but we don't know about it yet.
I suspect trying to perfect that jutsu would be more useful than Hitsugaya's swordfight training @_@. And Nanao is kidou genius from now on. Probably that's why... she wasn't seen during Fake Karakura? I'm confused now x).
Ichigo is an exception, afair hogyoku have been helping him, he learnt bankai via special training risking... his life(or something else, I don't remember) and so on, so on.
Tessai & Hachi aren't in SS, but I may be wrong.

Ugh...why are the Quincy so OP??? How did they lose to the Shinagami in the first place. This is getting annoying
Because the last big war was a thousand year ago when Yamamoto's squad (which became the first generation captains) was composed of people almost as strong as him. Now it's full of new generation weak captain while the quincy are pretty much as strong as they were before.
The remnant of the quincies (like Ishida's grandfather) are not to be counted, they are small fries.

Hitsugaya is down for real now? Well, it's practically the same way last chapter ended, Kubo didn't need to drag this fight. Maybe Cang Du intend to execute him with Hyōrinmaru. In my opinion, help is coming too early, though having Bankai back may not be enough.

2. Every captain? Have you ever seen Zaraki using kido? Other may or may not be strong enough but
3. It matter. If you have technique that you can use, let say, 5 minutes, and it takes lots of time to learn it you don't learn others. It's better to let them train in their own domain(like ice+sand ). She can teach guys like Mayuri or Byakuya(if he was there). Some captains would just waste their time.
2. Of course Zaraki can't use Kido. But she can at least inform the others that there is such a technique, just to give them a heads up.
3. We just saw in this chapter that Hitsugaya needed more time, so even if it was temporary, it would've helped leaps. In the end, all we saw was utter stupidity from yet another Shinigami.
