Bleach Chapter 551 Discussion

Having the sternritters fight the captains they stole bankais from is a pretty dumb strategy. The captains know there own bankai's weaknesses better than they do and being around them only increases the chances of somehow stealing it back. In Toushiro's case the guy who stole his bankai would only be providing more water to fuel his shikai.

It's better to let them train in their own domain(like ice+sand ). She can teach guys like Mayuri or Byakuya(if he was there). Some captains would just waste their time.

2) You actually forgot that Shinigami spend years/decade learning how to do basic kido. Such specialized and irregular kido will not be learnt overnight and for 'normal growth' shinigami it might even takes weeks/months to use it to a comfortable level.

In case of Hitsugaya's Hyourinmaru, the bankai could make a difference. The vacuum bubbles and the weaving of ice-threads that he came up with made his ice incredibly strong and sharp. He just didn't have enough ice, not enough to make it anything more than a single paper-thin wall/sword.



Not really sure what bankai could do for Soifon though, her bankai is the most unpractical bankai of them all. And it wasn't even strong enough to finish the second Espada.

So Kisuke found a way to restore the bankai??! Niceee!!!

Hitsugaya's trap was just funny, it lasted how much, a second? He's finally down now, and they STILL won't kill him off, because of Quincy's pride... Which is just giving a chance for Gotei, especially since it looks like Urahara is going to save everyone's asses one more time.

And did Nanao actually do anything after all o_o
