This arc has no right to be any more than 100 or so more chapters.
THis arc has EVERY right to be more than 100 chapters - hollows got more, Shinigami got more - its only normal that quincies would get as much of screentime, even more, considering it has to have an epilogue and satisfying conclusion to about a dozen of plot threads currently open.
the story of bleach simply doesn't have the depth it takes to last 8 more years
You mean except for about a dozen plot threads currently open? sure.
especially considering there are manga who have had more happen in less than 50 chapters than bleach has had happen in over 500.
Logical fallacies does not help in argumentation. You either prove it or stop throwing around subjective bs when trying to prove a factual point.
If this is true then I guess I'll have to drop bleach at some point seeing as I have better things to do than watch characters with no depth or development fight until I'm 30 years old.
Yet again sentence built from logical fallacies. I can prove the characters have depth and development, I can prove that out of "big three" Ichigo is most well developed protagonist, can you prove otherwise? I doubt it.

10 years for one arc sounds pretty normal when you consider how long the sasuke arc in naruto has been going on or how many years the black organization arc in detective conan has been ongoing with no end in sight
Not to mention that Arrancar Arc lasted 7 years and SS arc around 4 to 6.

Exactly. This show is running off fumes at this point.
All the Bleach fanboys will look over the fact that this last chapter did nothing at all but provide even more questions which the people obsessed with Bleach will perceive as good writing when in actuality it isn't.
Yet again no arguments.
And yes it is good writing - setting up a mystery, paving the build-up towards reveal and doing a reveal is the very basic framework of writing ANY sort of narrative.
Also by admitting Bleach has more questions open now, you just self-defeated your first argument about "bleach running on fumes".
Want to see manga running on fumes for more than three years now? Narutoe.
Like I've said before, just because there are 100 plot twists doesn't mean that the story is good, it just proves that Kubo has no clue where the actual story is going.
You mean, except for the fact that he keeps proving that some of the plot twists have been set in motion hundreds of chapters ago?
Think about it. Why are mangas that have 100 chapters as opposed to a 1000 are better?
Subjective opinion being presented as factual truth does not equal a good argument. Not every 100 chapter manga is better". If we were to use your "arguments" as truth then stuff like Legend of Galactic Heroes or Berserk should be counted as pure shit, yet...
The fact that the writers of the 100 chapters have more time to actually think about the story and develop whereas these long running manga writers change their story so often because it has been going on for 10+ years.
Yet again proving you have absolutely no idea on HOW narrative is written - what you described is usually done months, sometimes YEARS in advance before the "first part" is even written. By the time a writer finishes introducing the character, he usually has already mapped out ending AND at least a few arcs in advance, filling in the gaps from A to B as he/she goes.
3 cheers to hoping Kubo can redeem this manga.
manga does not need "redeeming". So far Kubo has yet to break any sort of basic rules of narrative writing and the story flow is decent to great. Just because you do not like something in it, does not make it bad.
