Just finished mangastream version. Started to imagine "Zangetsu" use his voice from anime. His slow and composed way of speech. Him saying "Ichigo" resonating in the water world as buildings crumble. It felt awesome.

Now Ichigo will be able to fully utilise his shinigami powers in conjunction with his hollow and quincy powers. He's going to be ridiculously super-powered now.

Ah man that was too short! Brilliant chapter!!



Will kubo be able to pull it off yet again? Make a new character design for Ichigo that is still badass? I trust and i will see!!!

felt very rushed. not many new revelations. not disappointed but could've been a lot better.

What's most interesting to me at the moment is a couple of statements made from both Juha Bach and Old-Man which seem conflicting to me. Bach makes the statment that the memories within Ichigo's reiatsu, his Quincy power, has awakend awakened earlier than he would have liked due to Ichigo's escape from Kirge's jail. Bach makes this statment after Ichigo uses Blut Vene as an instict rather than from Ichigo's own will. So two things that conflict in me is:



1: Old-Man knew of his relation to Bach since his inception (Which old man knew because of the flashbacks in chapter 541), then how can the memories of Ichigo's Quincy reiatsu, Old-Man, be awaked by Kirge's jail when Old-Man has been self aware the entire time? Old-Man, or the memories of Ichigo's Quincy reiatsu, stated he has been the "primary source of power" in Ichigo.



[Here is something to chew on if we are to get technical: Old-Man states that Hichgo was always the one to rescue Ichigo from mortal danger, but I guess Old-Man forgot that he saved Icigo in chapter 113 againts Kempachi by stopping Ichigos bleeding; and, Old-Man did use Blut Vene to save Ichigo from Bach's good ol' neck stab. (I mean if Ichigo was not 'aware' of his Quincy powers then who activated Blut for Ichigo...?]



The second issue deals with the speculation that Ichigo might not have truely achived Bankai. Some claim this. But we have to remember that once Ichigo achived what we belive is his Bankai, Hichigo then became closer and closer to Ichigo. This esp. happened when ever Ichigo used his Bankai. Since we now know that Hichigo is Ichigos true Shinigami powers and zanpakto, then we can say it makes sense that everytime Ichigo used his Shinigami Bankai, Hichigo would naturally become closer to Ichigo.

Are you claiming this as truth or speculation? Where does it state this in the manga? Old-Man did just state that he has been suppressing Ichigo's Shinigami powers, not changing the style.



Oh wow, you must be dense as fuck if you need METAPHORICAL SYMBOLISM to be spelled out in narrative.

Maybe there is a plot twist that even Kite does not know about. Isshin uses the technique of Getsuga Tensho aswell, so maybe the next twist is Ichigo's mother is truly the Shinigami and Isshin is the Quincy blood line. Ol Boy, can't wait! Please note sarcasm.



Oh wow, someone forgot that Ichigo is also Hollow. So Obviously his GT reminds of both a cero and a a quincy arrow. Please don't strain your brain trying to understand that. Its obviously too high of a concept. Stick to pew pews.

Final Getsuga Tensho: you are correct in describing a function of the technique. Heck, we could assume that Isshin knew this long before Ichigo was born. Once again ill revert back the sarcasm of my previous statement.



Yes, let's yet again  use the logic of dumb college drop-outs(hey they did not say it direct, so it doe snot exist~) and ignore the symbolism over how story paralleled both powers and how Aizen was Ichigo's Mayuri, because the story did not shout it to us straight in the face.

When has either personification been the direct cause of Ichigo's inner world clasping or submerging under water? Old-Man stated to Ichigo to stop being a wuss because Old-Man is tired of getting wet. Do you think Old-Man would cause Ichigo's inner world to submerge underwater if Ol-Man liked to be wet? No! Old-Man STATED TO Ichigo he would lend him all his powers if Ichigo stopped the rain.

BECAUSE PERSONIFICATIONS ARE NOT CAUSES, THEY ARE REFLECTIONS. LEARN YOUR GOD DAMN TERMINOLOGY or stop making yourself look dumb.
