liked the part where Unohana's Eyes changed into normal for Kenpachi's sake and also the whole damaging and healing by her

Kenpachi's power up's through the whole manga being explained, although it seems like people don't agree with how it got explained I feel it's a decent way of doing it. Powering up as he finds someone stronger is an interesting way to go about it and leaves scope for Kenpachi to have further power ups in the future which probably will inevitably happen.

I'm interested as to why Unohana was spared when Kenpachi was a child, it's an interesting thing which could be expanded upon or better explained but i'm feeling it's more along trust or caring since Unohana found somebody who has the potential to carry on the name Zaraki and maintain it for a long time.

i really didn't like the fullbring arc (like most people), but this right now is so awesome

really enjoying it.

Also we still need to see Kenpachi fight someone with a special ability. Even with his ridiculously over-stacked amount of brute strength i still don't see him beating someone like Gin, Mayuri, Shinji, Or Starrk without kubo choreographing the fight in his favor. The only reason he defeated Kaname Tosen was because, for whatever reason, he chose not to mortally wound kenpachi or even use kido.

Yes it doesn't. His victory was survival and fighting on par with Zaraki. What pisses me off about this is that Kubo now says that their success wasn't because of their unique bond but by luck because Zaraki wasn't at his best.

It's like Kubo is continuing to shitting about the connection between Ichigo and Zangetsu, because it was back in the past.

So enlighten me then. To me the picture of defeated Yami said it all. Huge slash on his chest and destroyed arm suggested that it was quick, no fun, whatever.

Staggering? I don't believe so. I told people he was stronger than Unohana and they said no way, I mean, was it not confirmed the moment Soul Society decided to bet their future on him after years of letting him just be "strong"?

That's some bits of the past that are always interesting to know! But yes, didn't expect Kenpachi's child self to be that strong and moreover standing up to Unohana.
