I'm really liked this chapter.

I felt that Unohana's flashback was really well done.

I don't want Unohana to die :'(

Kubo has been foreshadowing the hell out of the fact that kenpachi might be the strongest character. What I believe will happen is that kenpachi is going to get ichigo out of a really sticky situation with bach by going bankai. After which he will lay a massive beat down on him before having his bankai stolen. Then ichigo would be on equal ground with bach and ultimatlely come out the victor. In the end what this would mean is that zaraki is the strongest character. My predictions.

It's also scary to see how old Unohana was just as bored with people and had no problem with that giant stack of corpse next to her.(And killing people ruthlessly  for that matter)

The translation wasn't great, but I assumed little Kenny was responsible for the pile.

Kenpachi's power up's through the whole manga being explained, although it seems like people don't agree with how it got explained I feel it's a decent way of doing it. Powering up as he finds someone stronger is an interesting way to go about it and leaves scope for Kenpachi to have further power ups in the future which probably will inevitably happen.

I'm interested as to why Unohana was spared when Kenpachi was a child, it's an interesting thing which could be expanded upon or better explained but i'm feeling it's more along trust or caring since Unohana found somebody who has the potential to carry on the name Zaraki and maintain it for a long time.

I like the development on Kenpachi's character, but it came at the cost of destroying the ruthless beast of a character Unohana was made to be over the past couple of chapters. That is what I, at least, don't like about this chapter.

Oh I agree a lot with you on that, I don't like how the ruthlessness of Unohana in the past chapters has been evaporated in this chapter, but then I feel it's sort of ok due to the fact Kenpachi has been developed more and we have known about him and random power ups he gets throughout the manga and Unohana's character has never been explained. She now stands at a point of a maternal person to someone who is worthy of her but it's hard to be worthy of her from what i perceive.

If you think about it she's still a fucking beast though. In order for Kenpachi to get stronger she's essentially almost killing him and healing him back again over and over. Who knows how many times over she's planning to make Kenpachi lose consciousness to regain his old self.

Now, will he learn to use his sword or is he just going to be a ridiculous boss?

I generally don't like overpowered brutes but Kenpachi is too legendary.

That's just it - he doesn't need to learn how to use his sword.  He KNOWS how to.  That's how good he is.  The original best of the best couldn't come CLOSE to him.  The STRONGEST OF THE GOTEI 13 couldn't hold a candle to him.  Hundreds/thousands of years ago.  Kenpachi might actually be the trump card in all of this.  He's the god of swordfighting, essentially.
