Can't wait to see Kenpachi's real power... and hopefully get a real Zanpakuto with Shinai and Bankai.

So, I'm the only one who thought it was rather boring?

I'm sorry.. i can't jump on the Kenpachi band wagon that easily.. i mean i like Zaraki and all but for them to possibly kill off a Captain level character who went 524 chapters with 0 battles, and very little character development until now is bs. But I guess that's because the fans all love Zaraki cuz "I'm a badass and I don't take shit from no one" **** that.. Kubo really shouldn't kill off Unohana just to prove that Zaraki's a God Mecca of a character.. or.. whatever..

This was actually a nice chapter, I liked the flashback and can't even imagine how strong can Zaraki get. I mean, firstly, he was able to beat Unohana when he was only a kid and now, if he gets to his old self after so many years spent fighting and gaining experience... And then, according to Zangetsu, Zaraki's zanpakuto is screaming and "they only damage each other's power", so he would get really powerful if he could find out the name of his Zanpakuto and I'm dying with curiosity to see it.

I also hope that Unohana will show us something more during this fight.

That's pretty ridiculous that this whole time he could have bodied everyone potentially up to Old Man Yamamoto.  He's even more of a freak than I imagined.  I think everyone hopes that he learns to properly use his zanpakutou, too.  Though I wonder who would be able to teach him that?

A lot of people are complaining that Unohana's ruthless depiction was ruined, but that's only because because of them thinking that the gentle, caring Unohana wasn't real, nothing but a mask, yet that is also a part of her, she is regretful, she is caring, she has changed.

At the same time, she loves or loved battle in a way similar to Kenpachi, so seeing that her own weakness forced a warrior of such potential to restrain himself, to limit his power instead of rising to his full potential, to basically stop being himself was a great hit, that's her sin.

Kenpachi for his part basically lived to battle, yet never had a challenge, he was always too strong.

When Unohana appeared, he finally thought that he could fight without restraint, to finally let loose. When he won, he realised that it ended the same way as every one of his past fights, but the fun he had during this one was too great, he didn't want it to end, he wanted to go on, if he was too strong for anybody to defeat him, then he would become weak, so that he could enjoy the feeling of being able to fight to the limit forever.

It's more of a mental trauma than a conscious action, he doesn't know he's doing it, but his body is fighting with less and less restraint every time he is about to die, he's basically readjusting to the level of the fight.

Great chapter, Kenpachi is amazing ...

Once, I was wondering how can Kenpachi who lost to Ichigo without Shikai can beat Nnoitra who can beat Ichigo with Bankai and Hollowfied easily ( yeah, there is other shit explanation like Ichigo is tired or anything after duel with Grimmjow ). But with this chapter that is answered, Kenpachi is always just unconsciously hold down his power to equally strong with all of his opponent ...

Not killed and revived, but brought back from the brink of death, as Unohana said. Don't know where people are getting this dying and reviving idea from? As soon as he'd pass out she'd heal him. If he died then that's it.
