Bleach Chapter 524 Discussion

Chapter ended too quickly, was hoping for a lot more, but it seems the innevitable flashbacks are coming.

Zaraki gets stronger when he comes back from the verge of death, this could prove interesting depending on how long kubo develops this fight between the two.

Unohana looked like a monster, although i'm pretty sure she was showing some emotion when she was referring to Zaraki being weaker, him taking off his eye patch and telling him how he shouldn't say he looked up to someone in the middle of a fight.

Unohana didnt actually stab kenpachi in the throat.. seemed more like kenpachi saw the image of himself getting stabbed. also, kenpachi's tears :O.

also... kenpachi gets stronger when he comes back from the verge of death? hes a saiyan? xD

Feels like the chapter is too short (ended too quickly), though I think it's interesting to know why he acts like his way.

''Kenpachi Zaraki. You won't die. Every time you cross the border to death you become stronger. That is the mistake you imposed on you and also my sin.''



If the translation is to be believed, Kenpachi has to actually die (not be close to death), to gain a power boost, maybe Kenpachi can't actually die? Or maybe he can't die by Unohana's hands?



It might be her Bankai, or maybe the power of Kenpachi's Zanpakutou that he has been using all this time without knowing. We know atleast that it must've happened during their fight.



If it's her 'sin', then she must've caused it, but if he 'imposed' it on himself, then he must be the reason why whatever she did is still in effect?

Seems like Unohana avoided killing Kenpachi (I think?)

So Unohana has committed a sin that she is still holding on to.

Well, she's getting flashback, so the possibnility of her death increases.

Btw. didn't Zaraki suppose to not remember anything prior to meeting with Unohana? I mean, I didn't think actually that it is another of Fai's fanfick, because it was easy to verify, but now Ken seems to remember everything.



Great chapter, though when Isane was shown I thought that Kubo is trolling us and is skipping to Ichigo's training x). Oh, and could it be Aizen messing with Zaraki's perception?

Crying Zaraki? That's something new. Pretty good 1 on 1 fight, I'm waiting to see what sin Unohana commited, might be interesting.
