Bleach Chapter 524 Discussion

This chapter was doing just fine, until Unohana had to introduce a flashback in the corniest manner possible. I just hope that "sin" isn't some kind of bull like "I have created a monster!" Also that the flashback won't take more than one chapter.

I can't say I understand Soul Society's decision to have two of the most powerful warriors fight each other to the death. Wouldn't it, uhh, serve them better to have them fight against their enemies in the upcoming war?

Question to Tite Kubo from this reader (who can't comperehend why she is still reading Bleach): What is the rationalization of having two very strong captains fighting to death at the eve of war. Has your logic gone to vacation or something... Well whatever,,, you probably didn't have logic or abandon it for the sake of fanservice anyway.Doesn't matter if one of them dies, we all know the shinigami will win.

Awesome fight. Only thing that bothered me is that Kubo once again used the "I felt it hit it me" image crap.

I need to see badass Unohana animated.

Anybody curious about her bankai?

Unohana didnt actually stab kenpachi in the throat.. seemed more like kenpachi saw the image of himself getting stabbed. also, kenpachi's tears :O.

also... kenpachi gets stronger when he comes back from the verge of death? hes a saiyan? xD



Unohana didnt have any blood on her face before stabbing him, but after Kenpachi woke up she did and Kenpachi was fine. Maybe her bankai? Or something else?

Even more convinced that Zaraki - Unohana's sword she abandoned  - hence paralels with asauchi dilemma



havent been keeping up with all the theories flying around, but that thought also just occurred to me. Maybe he is a/her zanpakutou, ergo the awesome reiatsu (consider how strong she is), the inability to wilffully release shikai, bankai or revert to its original state (for the uninformed, just like ichigo, zaraki's zanpakutou is permanently in released state, he doesn't know the name, his power is just that strong). They've obviously fought in the past, and they've wounded eachother. Waiting to find out what that implies, besides the fact they want to make sweet sweet love down by the fireside. And by love i mean alloutbrawl.



Also zaraki isnt that weak. Unohana even told him off for not using both hands. WE saw how much stronger he was, so much so that he destroyed Nnoitra in one swing, and yamaji decided to not train him anymore after that one lesson. Just wait till he uses both hands. Should be interesting.
