You repeated yourself(about Unohana's supposed strength, sorry I didn't see any of that, still waiting for Kubo to kindly let her fight) so I'll also repeat myself, only bit shorter: Haschwald.

Also as I said before, we do not know how 4th Squad headquarters work - for all we know there's some sort of protective kidou around it, SS equivalent of a bomb shelter.

You said it best. We don't know, hence this remark is pretty weak. So I on the other hand can say, that we don't know if anything of protection WAS there. Or moreover, I could say, so commander's headquarters wouldn't have any of that? Thus I still stand by my point - if they managed to destroy the first division building, they had power to destroy everyone of them.

Also, it was probably you and some people here to say that at this point Kidou isn't nothing special.

Ok, I can buy the excuse of them being extremely weak, thus, they could form some combat unit which conisists of warriors who are good with healing abilities, or some small groups of the 4 division members could be guarded by some fighters like Ikkaku.

I think that was a filler (that I had the bad luck of watching)

Still, we aggree that there this war wasn't depicted absolutely correctly. At least the story progresses. So let's see.

Really? I could swear it was at the end of some of the anime episodes(those mini-stories) when Kon stole Hanatarou's sword. I thought Kubo had something to do with them.

Yes, upcoming info dump is something that I'm really looking forward to, and hint of it(that Ichigo has to meet with Mayuri) was to me the only bright side of this overall trashy chapter(of course in my opinion). I gave it 1/5.

By the way if I have to rate these 'war' chapters... Let's see, I would give 5/10 it managed to keep my interest with the setup, highlight being the Yama's bankai. But pay off was weak, and the whole thing lost its steam with one-shotted Yama.

Both Kenpachi and Byakuya are alive, however they are in acoma.... In the end there was only one major life lost. Or not... seeing that they can't find his body.

And what did I write? IN THIS SITUATION it made no sense to send out your best medics and loose. They were facing an overwhelming odds of people(with ranged capabilities) who had specific intent of annihilating them all and who were led by a person whom Yamaji failed to kill.

Yamaji had a pretty good idea that Juha would have to retreat because of RG if Yamaji failed, so it only made sense to preserve the best medics available to help out the aftermath instead of being picked off one by one with arrows in the middle of battle like it happened to majority of R&D.

And your point is completely moot, too. Before being trashed by Juha, Yamamoto believed to be in complete control of the battle, and if he didn't win, there's still Squad 0 that would have come to help the Shinigami, and they're something that Juhabach is scared shitless about. Also, the Stern Ritters know Soul Society like the back of their own hands, and they certainly weren't going with kid gloves on them, since they were slauthering their comm division. Which means that this whole time 4th division was a giant sitting duck and could have only benefited by spreading their men around.

Also, in this situation? Combat medics are useful regardless of the situation. It's not rocket science, it's Strategy 101. It's something that fucking Naruto gets. Yeah, I said it. Kishimoto knows something about strategy that your idol absolutely ignores.

Byakuya is alive?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Kubo you'll forever fail. This is hilarious, looking back at all the morons going apeshit about him dying and the even bigger morons claiming it was a sign of Kubo growing up as a writer. It was so obvious he wouldn't kill him off. Oh man, I literally jumped up laughing when I read that panel. Oh and they didn't find Yama's body? I bet he'll show up again later. Remember, no one ever dies in Bleach.

Also an incredibly genius explanation why the 4th Squad didn't do shit. Well I'm sure Yama knew something we all don't know, yet. Oh wait...he was absolutely sure he could kill Bach and end the war right there. So I guess...he was just an idiot after all.

At least the captain Commander is truly dead

Kenpachi I figured he would still live, Byakuya I'm pretty surprised though.. Although they did say that apparently they might not wake up or if they do they can't return to their duties. In other words they are probably out for the fights now. I doubt Kenpachi is though knowing the crazy bastard.

Interesting though, I wonder why the Captain-Commander ordered for division 4 to stay inside.

Kyoraku lost an eye though! D:

Now him and Kenpachi can be pirate buddies ARRGGHH!

Shits going down though now that the captain-commander is dead.
