You repeated yourself(about Unohana's supposed strength, sorry I didn't see any of that, still waiting for Kubo to kindly let her fight) so I'll also repeat myself, only bit shorter: Haschwald.
Also as I said before, we do not know how 4th Squad headquarters work - for all we know there's some sort of protective kidou around it, SS equivalent of a bomb shelter.
You said it best. We don't know, hence this remark is pretty weak. So I on the other hand can say, that we don't know if anything of protection WAS there. Or moreover, I could say, so commander's headquarters wouldn't have any of that? Thus I still stand by my point - if they managed to destroy the first division building, they had power to destroy everyone of them.
Also, it was probably you and some people here to say that at this point Kidou isn't nothing special.
Ok, I can buy the excuse of them being extremely weak, thus, they could form some combat unit which conisists of warriors who are good with healing abilities, or some small groups of the 4 division members could be guarded by some fighters like Ikkaku.

I think that was a filler (that I had the bad luck of watching)
Still, we aggree that there this war wasn't depicted absolutely correctly. At least the story progresses. So let's see.
Really? I could swear it was at the end of some of the anime episodes(those mini-stories) when Kon stole Hanatarou's sword. I thought Kubo had something to do with them.
Yes, upcoming info dump is something that I'm really looking forward to, and hint of it(that Ichigo has to meet with Mayuri) was to me the only bright side of this overall trashy chapter(of course in my opinion). I gave it 1/5.
By the way if I have to rate these 'war' chapters... Let's see, I would give 5/10 it managed to keep my interest with the setup, highlight being the Yama's bankai. But pay off was weak, and the whole thing lost its steam with one-shotted Yama.
