Bleach Chapter 512 Discussion

What happened to Urahara and Grimmjow?! Dammit, I was hoping we could see them in this chapter. Oh well, anyway it was great to finally see Ichigo again. I doubt this will be the final battle, but Ichigo should be enough to drive the Quincey out of Soul Society for the time being. DON'T YOU DIE ON ME BYAKUYA!

Now I want Ichigo to kill Juha Bach. And asap.

Good chapter. Like most, was also hoping it wouldn't be ichigo. But now we have some questions: What happened in HM? Whos sword was that at Uraharas face?

When they said ichigos reiatsu vanished, it was JUST after his flash step. Is he JUST that fast? Or has he transcened again? Are his wounds from escaping HM, or some kind of training to power up?

I reckon hell face Juha with overwhelming force, juha will order a temporary retreat, and the next year will be filled with flashbacks of peoples past. Next few weeks should show u swhat happened in HM.

Awesome art too. Ichigo looked badass. Kinda like when he finally faced aizen, but with more anger than calm in his face

Ive always liked Byakuya. His final words were awesome

Also, the page with all the shinigami - are they sweating from the recent release of Yamaji's bankai or are is it raining?

Why is everyone so interested in Unohana? It's only been implied that she's all that strong and that was mainly for comic relief. Her shikai is a manta ray that heals people with its stomach fluids. Pretty lame if you ask me. Just because she is probably the second oldest captain doesn't mean she will fair any better in battle than the rest of them. After all, Yama-jii is dead. I would rather see Shunsui's or Ukitake's bankai.

Don't think anything he's experienced before can measure up to him losing here, but based on how dark and unpredictable the latest events have been I'd say it's unfortunately a likely future for poor Ichigo...

I see where you're coming from but I believe that we reached the point of the story when Ichigo is the strongest character on a good side. Like in Naruto when Pain massacred the village and like in DB when everybody waited for Goku to beat Frieza.

They treated Kurosaki like "the last hope" not because SR can't steal his so far useless(even with Byakuya he won because his inner hollow) bankai. So I guess they base their hopes on something, and I find Byakuya's words to him from this chap as acknowledging Ichigo as stronger than him.

Ichigo's loss(or at least heavy loss) isn't that obvious to come like Yama's or Zaraki's.

Because, well, what would be the point of this epic entrance?...the fight will not end in 1-2 chapters, I'll agree on that. But if we're gonna take it from the perspective of a storyteller, there are a lot of great stories where tragic pointless things happen all the time. But those stories are usually aimed at an older audience.

IF Bleach's story is taking a step into new darker territories then this chapter can be seen as fuel for the despair that Ichigo will feel if he fails... Byakuya's words would echo inside his head if he lost.

Nice chapter. Byakuya is still alive, but will eventually die. That is a relief.



For the first time I think Ichigo was truly badass in this manga. Now let's wait for him to be crushed by Yhwach.

Ichigo looked awesome and Kubo is really killing Byakuya, at least we know that Rukia is still alive.



Juha felt Ichigo's reiatsu, so whose reiatsu vanished, Domino's? Did Ichigo fight him?

The only reason why I liked this chapter, is because of the art & because Byakuya still has some breath in him left. I was really disappointed that this whole chapter was dedicated to Ichigo's entrance, I was really hoping that it was the Zero squad, I guess most of us were. This chapter was a waste because nothing exciting happened. Kubo's such a troll.
