^ I don't thinks Blondie is Bach, although I do believe he is there to assess Yama's BK. And I'm pretty sure Yama DID just release his North technique last chapter. If Blondie is really that strong/important, then he would probably have tried to steal Yama's BK right when he showed "North" if he was able to. More likely he's going to report back to the head guy soon with his collected info.

I also DO hope Byakuya is dead, someone big needs to die and he seems a reasonable enough candidate as we have seen all his power, and it's not all that impressive. His character can not progress any further, and it will also serve to piss off Ichigo and Co. giving them a good reason to want to kill these Quincies.

So if Real Juhabach deceived Yamamoto completely and stole his bankai/defeated him later then isn't that whole Aizen scenario once again?

Hmmm, I'm not sure what you are trying to say. That shadow looks pretty much like the Juha Bach we know so him being dead is a little controversial with what you are saying in this post...

BUT, with a little more thinking I realised that you refered to him as "something"

and it struck me, maybe this Juha Bach is something like a part of the original's consiousness. I think that if you are right with what you are saying about the names then in a sense this Juha Bach who is now dead would be the original's offspring, again in an abstract sense and not in the literary parent-child as you proposed. But him not being a person as you said might be plausible, and a tad more original than the dead Juha being an illussion.I can reach that point from a couple of routes. First is the Quincy, the Quincy is a teaching, more like a religion, there is a reason why the Quincy are fighting, which we don't know till now (well it's said that they're fighting to ruin the balance between the worlds, but the question is why?). The Quincy being like a religion means they worship something, that'd be the root of all existence. 2nd is Aizen, he was trying to make the Soul Key to open a the gate to reach the Soul King. From conversation between Urahara and Aizen it appears that without the Soul King the world would crumble/seize to exist, which means the Soul King is the root of all existence, the "thing" the Quincy worship. (I'm not sure about this

Now coming to Juha Bach, he died saying "forgive me Juha Bach-sama", which makes me think he's apologizing because he couldn't fulfill his objective, the Quincy's objective. In addition to that double-spread my theory is that the original Juha Bach is the Soul King, and Bach was asking for forgiveness from that root of all existence.

I think this theory is still better than the "there's another villain" one.

[Remember that double spread we talked about in the discussion thread for ch.500? the one where Ichigo and Aizen are flying toward "something" that looks like Juha Bach..?Sorry, I am not familiar with this spread, nor could I find it after searching, to what do you refer?

*edit* Nevermind, I think I found it on Batoto, big black ink blot in the top right?Yea the one which shows Ichigo and all the villain he fought, I'll try bringing it here just a moment. here it is:

Well it's pretty obvious that isn't the real Juha Bach. My theory is that it's actually the blonde guy who always seems to be following Juha about. Somehow they switched places midway into the battle leaving Juha to observe the true power of Yammaoto's bankai - possibly formulating a way in which to beat it. I think its a likely possibility that the real Juha will step in and kill/disable (ie steal bankai) Yammato with a fair amount of ease. Juha has so far displayed very few of his abilities.

Whoah whoah, wha? How many war potentials are there?

5, it has been mentioned in chapter 490 when Vandenreich prepared to inavde SS.

You reckon Yoruichi and Aizen are war potentials? We never saw their bankai. Hell, Yoruichi doesn't even use her zanpaktou.

Aizen is a frikkin' monster, more than possible. As for Yoruichi, does she even have a zanpakutou, we have never seen it or did I miss it? If she has one, I would say it's possible.

On top of that, we still have Kyouraku, Ukitake, Unohana, Isshin, even Urahara, we have no idea how strong they are in the end, I wouldn't count them out.

I just don't see the point of the last 4 chapters, I mean either one of Yama's bankai directions could've taken them out but Kubo decided to reveal them all at once leaving little to the imagination and it turns out none of them are that impressive not to mention one of them is of course another getsuga motherfucking tenshou.

It had no real story, and not a very good fight. Just some good artwork and Yama being "epic"

It's also the epitome of stupidity that he shows all his Bankai "the limit" when he JUST talked about being secretive helped him survive the Quincy attack.
