Bleach Chapter 509 Discussion

Fake Juha was probably there to learn about Yama's bankai, so that the real Juha can steal it later on.

I don't really understand who are you refering to as the spiky-hair guy. Someone we know? Maybe kaien(X-Vice captain of Shunsui, you youself said we will learn something about him and why he looks like Ichigo)I wasn't really refering to anyone with that picture, I was just wondering who that guy is. He's probably a new character (nakama?) that'll appear in the new set of characters we'll get soon. I doubt he's Kaien, his hair is too bizarre for being Kaien lol, he's short too. Kaien is Ukitake's XVC btw, not Shunsui's.

Its ichigo's original character design back then when Kubo wanted Bleach to be about guns and aliens.

I may be wrong here, but all this talk about them being the RG's? I was under the impression that the RG are comprised of former Captain Commanders, or strong Captains formally of the Gotai 13. Is this not correct? and if not could someone let me know, as I would like to get it straight.

We know that strong shinigami are "promoted" to Squad Zero/RG and are never seen again afterward. The inner workings of Royal Guard are unknown except for the fact that they are above Yamamoto in authority, ignore the squabbles and wars of soul society and are the only ones to have seen the Soul King, however whatever Soul King is was enough for both Aizen and Urahara to freak out(Aizen choosing to rebel, Urahara having decided that its pointless to even try, due to Soul king being a necessity)

Apart from that, we know nothing about Royal Guards, except that they are set to appear in this arc.

The thing is - just like Arrancar "promoted" into VR fodder ranks were trained to be quincies, its impossible to say on if royal guards stayed shinigami (or even if those promoted became royal guards and were not just fed to Soul King, ala Warhammer 40k)

^Juha Bach saying "I'm sorry Juha Bach-sama" while dying apparently didn't strike you to think that the one fighting Yama isn't the real one? Either an illusion or an atrificial clone or someone who transformed into him. Juha is clearly the boss of the Quincies at least(if not the actual last boss of Bleach).

^ he couldn't and still can't steal his bankai yet

in order to do that he would have to modify the medalize system and it doesn't look like he brought his toolbox with him so he'll most likely withdraw leaving Yama a message.

I still think his role atm is that of the observer....he's most likely the quincy ver of urahara...this guy prob created the medalize system

Awesome chapter.

Yamamoto is as fearsome and fear-inducing as imagined.

As guessed, this Juha is not the final boss. I guess blondie is. Or, as even more plot-twisty twist - Ryuuken is.  Whatever it is, I would not be surprised if the final battle would be against Royal Guards. Kubo did say that
Enemy count will start smaller and grow exponentially larger and more powerful

Anyway, great and emotional chapter.

Goddamn it, Yamamoto is a frikkin' beast, he even showed us North. Absolutely loved how he destroyed Juha but it sounds like this was not the real Juha.

Don't let Mal get to you bros. But truth be told the dudes that were bashing bleach a couple of chapters back may not be the same as the ones bashing it now. Just wait.I wrote a long paragraph but now that you mention it, even I, when I hate a series I'll try nitpicking without making any sense and I'll just argue without paying attention what the other guy is saying nor to the series (I tend to avoid both though), so ignoring is the best way I guess, both love and hate blind people after-all.

Btw Kanic was Yamamoto being a war potential confirmed? because I don't remember it being confirmed. I still don't think we have any good leads to what the WP are, so guessing is just pointless imo.
