Looks like you're like the only one who's taking things too seriously, I'm pretty sure almost everyone liked that Kenpachi part (check the comments here) Why can't you just enjoy what you read simply? Seriously whenever I see your avatar and name I realize I'm gonna read a bunch of non-sense made by a hater who comments and reads it only to bash it. Oh and btw your profile picture's joke is getting old, check this one it's way better and funnier:
After I read your non-sense I wonder If you had read 2-3 chapters about Kenpachi's fights, would you stop complaining? I don't think so. There are lots of other characters to focus on other than Kenpachi.
Really man? I voice my two cents about the direction of this manga, you come here making a post only about me and I'm the one that's taking things seriously? Man, this isn't certainly the first time somebody here complains about me, I'm starting to think you Bleach fanboys are serious stalkers. Oh, and btw, that Xzibit joke is at least 3 years older than the one from my forum avatar and it was ripped off from the avatar on my profile. But if you say that's tired I guess I could change to another old and hackneyed meme, champ.
And to answer your question, I would be happy if I had my 2-3 chapters with Kenpachi fighting. I'd be estactic if Kubo made such a move. But that's absolutely not the point I was trying to make. In this chapter, Kubo violated the cardinal rule of storytelling, "show don't tell". Meaning a few lines describing how something went isn't as good as showing how those events happened using the POV character describing things first hand.
Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that the fight wasn't important at all because it was about unimportant characters going against a main one, and thus it wasn't worth showing. And I'd say you're right in a way, but that reasoning implies 2 things.
1. Kubo Tite, the author whose magnum opus has been described as "Dragonball Z with swords", knows about the subtleties and intricacies of storytelling.
2. Kenpachi, one of Ichigo's rivals and a diamond point of Soul Society, isn't a character important enough to get at least half a chapter of fight, even with unimportant characters, when Ichigo spent at least five in the same situation as Zaraki.
Maybe in Kubo's opinion Zaraki isn't important enough to even get half a chapter of fight, but it's since his appearance that he's regarded as a pretty important character, so, even if Kubo doesn't like him or he wants to write about other characters, he should at least find some time to show what Kenpachi is doing, at least for his many fans, and half a chapter isn't really that much time for a long running manga.
So, how is this "bunch of nonsense by a hater"? Is this good enough for you to pay attention, or you're going to say "oh those haters like to whine just about, like everything!" like you guys usually do?
