Also there's no sign of hollow mask anywhere, Ichigo's face is covered in blood and he's hitting with all his strengh on a white barrier/barrier of light.

If you look on page 9 you obviously see that it's part of his dark getsuga tenshou's blast hitting on the barrier with bit of both flying away because of the pressure.Actually if you look on that same page, there is no blood on his face.  For that much blood to come down the left side of his face in that perfect a pattern, resembling his hollow mask.  There also is no proof that he can't use hollow powers anymore.  And as with his zanpakuto, his hollow powers could have also been modified in some manner.  We'll just have to wait and see what exactly has happened.

Well this was a surpise, I thought Bleach wasn't coming back till 8/20 :O

About the reason why that barrier is still up.

We're used in games and such that when a mage character die, the spell he launched before he died disapear but why wouldn't it be impossible for a spell to remain?

I mean that quincy used a spell to bind Ichigo, he basically threw a lot of energy in the form of the seal and even though there's nobody to refill it now why would the barrier go away before it exhausted what energy it has?

Not only that, there's a very simple answer to that: Nobody in the Stern Ritter have the same fighting capacity.

People assume that they are all as strong, all as fast but it's likely not the case.

Kenpachi was taking on the Espada with the strongest Hierro.

I know nnoitra was pretty tough but even if he was strongest espada. that still doesn't answer my question. Is it even possible to break kyoka suigetsu with strong riatsu?



I'm sure it's possible. Kyoka Suigetsu effects could be broken just by touching the blade.
