I just thought that it was strange, why destroy a person's bankai when it's easier to just kill him from behind while he's eating bread in his room with his friends...

We had a huge focus on Ichigo's powers for quite some time and we learned that he can literally break through the dimensions with his attack in the previous arc.

Most likely his power is crucial in some way of hampering the badguy plans or something IF Ivan is on the side of badguys.

Most likely I am betting that we will have TWO badguy teams just as in world war II - German and Russian sides.

World war, german speaking soldiers in uniforms, a russian named Ivan, and a hero with the opposite (mirror) of the corrupted swastika on his hilt. The metaphor is almost perfect.

Just needed to leave another funny thought here... If Yamamoto is missing/killed next chapter, then somehow Ichigo has a chance of becoming the new commander (no lieutenant), then Bleach's main character will become Hokage before Naruto's...

No. Just like Ichigo and Gingo said themselve, they are "Just a substitute shinigami".

Ichigo was never proposed to become part of the gotei 13 simply because the gotei 13 does not want him, not because of his personality or a grudge, simply because of what he is.

So unless Ichigo just take the position by force by beating down everyone that is against it I do not see him becomming Captain commander any time soon.

Though I agree that the chance of the manga finishing with Ichigo becoming part of the gotei 13 as a captain or the captain commander is not zero but I wouldn't bet on it.

Ichigo doesn't look interested about this as well.

I would not be surprised on if Ichigo got some commanding position for the war as the most important asset.

There are millions of ways it can end depending on how the whole soul king thing is handled, ranging from Ichigo becoming part of SS to Ichigo disappearing after the fight and the epilogue being told by that kid Ichigo saved few chapters ago.

Alright, what's the point of creating an ability that works against a character and that character shurgs it off like nothing?

To show how beast he is xD And for the reason i mention above i guess ;o

That's way too cliche. The main character is always the "Special" character who is immune to everything... gets boring after a while lol.

Chapter was decent, I hope this arc will be on par with the soul society arc or better. That would be great.

Haha that's true but that's the way it goes I guess, though Ichigo's died twice so he's not that immune xD

KriegsErkerklärung - What does this mean? I found something like "war bay clarification" on ggogle translate.

On the 17st page, some guy are carrying foil(?)[ http://www.ikonet.com/en/visualdictionary/sports-and-games/combat-sports/fencing/fencing-weapons.php ]

Is it some kind of reference to Spain? :D

"we throw cup to the ground" - is this a idiom? Could someone explain it to me?

KriegsErkerklärung, I found something like 'Declaration/State of War' I think it was.

As for foil thing didn't see that can't find it so I'm unsure what your talking about.

- That was one large arrow through the Lieutenant's body... Ivan and the black-masks are definately connected somehow. Still leaning towards the theory that they're on opposite teams.

- I liked the name of the chapter, "war declaration" in german, I think

.- Despite the wording of the chant... are we sure that Ivan tried to dispel Ichigo's powers and not STEAL them like Ginjo did? Perhaps his powers are needed for something and perhaps they don't trust Ichigo to use them in the right way.

I don't think he tried to dispel or steal but completely destroy his Bankai since the fullbring parts were what looked like crumbling.

Correct me if I'm wrong tho ;o

Considering not a single Shinigami died in 483 chapters, I wonder if it's almost time, but my hopes are too low.

Last time i checked Gin was a Shinigami.

So was Tousen.

Also this thousand years bloody war should be all out bloody war. the last thing i would want to see is one on one easy going fights like so-called winter war.

I thought initially Ichigo broke free due to hollow his hollow powers since hes used Kuroi GT but after re-reading I'm guessing it was due to Ichi breaking free like it was nothing after.

The black getsuga tenshou is in no way related to the hollow side of Ichigo's power.

When he's in shikai his getsuga tenshou is blue and when he's in bankai it's black. It's not a sign or an indicator of hollow power.

Ichigo fused both his shinigami and hollow power together, Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu both disapeared the moment he used the final getsuga tenshou.

Because said ability was not created for the purpose of getting Ichigo and that even if it can't limit Ichigo it can probably stop every other shinigami's bankai, very few exception aside.

Some people should get that Shinigami, Quincy, Fullbringer AREN'T RACE. They are teaching alike to martial arts. There's is nothing weird with a martial artist being able to use two different martial arts.

The closest thing to a race that we have are minus souls (Hollow) and plus souls (Normal soul) like it was said in chapter 1.

Hybrid are to designate a mix in race. A shinigami using quincy art isn't an hybrid, it's simply a shinigami that was teached quincy arts.

Plus souls that got a strong affinity to using reiatsu can be trained in any teaching they want. Because of the way Soul society work and is somewhat omnipresent in the world it is evident that they have their hand on all the soul and train spriritually gifted one in the way of the shinigami to expand their teaching and their influence.

I'll say it again.

-Shinigami is the teaching to cleanse a soul

-Quincy is the teaching to destroy a soul

-Fullbring is the teaching to control a soul

People died before Shinigami existed, they haven't invented and created the way the world currently work, they have only made use of it and that is very important in that, to the spirit king, they may look like a worthless bunch that try to get on his side to survive.

Anyway from where exactly did that vice-captain came and who threw that thing at him? Wtf was that? He was fighting outside the room?

Btw i don't get it. Can Ichigo still use hollow and Fullbring stuff? Logically should he have lost the ability to do so since those powers where stolen from him?

He flew in on that arrow from outside:

As for Ichigo: Hollow powers have been merged into his shinigami powers and fullbring has become part of his overall power too(as seen by parts of the armor being incorporated into his outfit). Ichigo learned fullbring thus he can use it, he has condition fitting the need for it.

that Vandenreich is german word

No, it's not.

The chapter title, however, is german. So yeah, the Quincy relation is obvious.

I didn't mean literally, but 'reich' at the end is definitely a german word
