Ya, the title means declaration of war.

Most likely I am betting that we will have TWO badguy teams just as in world war II - German and Russian sides.

This part is incomprehensible. In a war winner is justice and justice is on the winner's side, any looser is evil. -.-

Allowing enemy planes intentionally to bombard one of your shipyards just so you can pretend to have a reason to bash in other people's heads is also evil. There is never a noble or a good reason for killing or waging war.

What i am curious to know is what does that arancar mask even mean. The hollow exo skelet grows around the body to protect, when the hollow turns into an arrancar it looses all but one piece of his shield.

A fully hollow like baked up quincy? Seriously, Ichigo should've said "fuck off, just tell me what the hell you are if i can't figure it out".

I doubt Zangetsu is gone, isn't that the thing that gives the sword its power. It wouldn't make sense that he can use his techniques still if the inner world is empty.

Zangetsu is one of Ichigo's alteregos, it's not like he disappeared, it's not like he can just toss him out if he feels like it. Consider him something like Doctor Jekil's Mr Hide.

Probably he simply went over his multi personality disorder (or order if you prefer) and get ahold of himself entirely and thus was able to win.

The fact that zangetsu is gone, means he is currently just a memory, probably it's hard for him to imagine him back to an entity living inside him. If he creates another alter ego, it will be again as if he would have to rely on some hidden strength which he conciously is afraid to use. I just think this is why he is considered to be stronger without that extra inner world.

In other words zangetsu might come back, but it might be once again as if he has to rely on a hidden part of his own ego which he is to afraid normally to bring out or rely on, for whatever social reasons or psichological ones he might have.

I would like to know if Ichigo was aware he would be able to break free from that sort of trap from the start of if it suprised himself as well.

The pace of the chapter is lazy again. Let's hope we at least get more pages ... hope in vain, but without hope many might drop the manga.

Alright, what's the point of creating an ability that works against a character and that character shurgs it off like nothing?

he was talking about his bankai. So maybe he is talking about bankais in general not specifically Ichigo's bankai.

that Vandenreich is german word, so they are definitely Quincy, because tite kubo said, he is using german words for Quincy (source: wiki)

But you see, here's the catch.

Quincy is a teaching. Not a race. :) Anyone could theoretically BE quincy.

I am not sure about that, I think they are special humans

And I have a feeling Ishida will be fighting against his fellow quincy

I got scared for moment. I thought ichigo was going to loose his bankai and have to go through another training session to get his powers back.... again.

I don't think he tried to dispel or steal but completely destroy his Bankai since the fullbring parts were what looked like crumbling.

Correct me if I'm wrong tho ;oThat's not an easy thing to correct when I have no proof of my theory :P

I just thought that it was strange, why destroy a person's bankai when it's easier to just kill him from behind while he's eating bread in his room with his friends...

Haha yea that's true...did seem weird that...guess we'll find out soon...

I thought initially Ichigo broke free due to hollow his hollow powers since hes used Kuroi GT but after re-reading I'm guessing it was due to Ichi breaking free like it was nothing after.

The black getsuga tenshou is in no way related to the hollow side of Ichigo's power.

When he's in shikai his getsuga tenshou is blue and when he's in bankai it's black. It's not a sign or an indicator of hollow power.

Ichigo fused both his shinigami and hollow power together, Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu both disappeared the moment he used the final Getsuga Tenshou.

I'd forgotten about the fusing lol but still since he has his powers back...I'd assume Zangetsu is back, his powers were just lying dormant deep inside of him weren't they?

Though yes Zangetsu and Hollow Ichi did fuse mhmm...

As for the Kuroi GT, I remember Ulqiorra referring to it being similar to the Espadas Cero Oscuras so I always thought his GT was linked to his hollow powers. His GT in Bankai were not always Black  in the beginning if I remember right. And the first time the Black GT was used was when his hollow took over in the Byakuya fight I believe.

Seems so long ago, guess I have to go re-read xD

No, I don't remember where but it was said or heavyly hinted that Ichigo's inner world is empty. Even if he got his shinigami power back the soul of his zanpakutou is still dead.

Ichigo's GT in bankai mode were always black and his GT in shikai mode were always blue. The reason why Ulq hinted anything is not because of GT itself (Which is just a burst of energy by the way) but how Ichigo's reiatsu felt too close to a hollow's.

that Vandenreich is german word

No, it's not.

The chapter title, however, is german. So yeah, the Quincy relation is obvious.

I didn't mean literally, but 'reich' at the end is definitely a german word

I think I may have a theory on the "Vandenreich." Here are my thoughts:

There is a Danish word "vand" which means "water" and "-en" is a plural ending used in declension of German nouns. "Reich" is obviously German, and as was mentioned before, it means "kingdom", "empire." When put together, it may mean something like "The Waters/Oceans Empire" (altough "Vandenreich" sounds waaay more cool :D).

What aroused my interest was also Ivan's spell, which is basically a description of water cycle.

Don't know if it makes any sense, bus since I'm a linguist, I HAD to try solving this mystery, or else I wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully. :D

The kanji above "vandenreich" has it as "Unseen/Hidden/Secret Empire/Realm", so its more likely wandenreich.

EDIT: Also what is interesting: Hyori recognized the one who is approaching her from that weird portal as a shinigami.

It was not as boring as I expected, I hope that the next chapter is as good as this one.
