Really interesting chapter; Togashi living up to the dream.

I'm guessing Rank A threats can't be dealt by conventional means (nen, and bombs).

lol even the bomb didn't kill meryem in one shot...it was the poison. within that time he could have wiped out the half the world.

this manga is by far the best one out right now. there is no cheesey fillers or annoying story lines to take up time and space.

                        ----------------------------------------

Ah looks like the expedition is about to begin soon. I wonder what kind of abilities the Zodiacs will show. Same for Beyond Nero as well..Kurapika meets the Zodiacs at last. That's something. Also, it seems Ging felt the huge aura coming from before.

Pariston's smile always brightens that gloomy atmosphere though LOL

I wonder how powerful were those who explored the "Dark Continent" and what killed them was it diseases? giant animals? are all creatures in the continent like the chimera ants.

Another interesting set up chapter for whats coming. I really get the feeling that this arc is just going to be an enormous scale, it certainly is looking like that.

So we finally get an idea of just how lethal the enemies are over there at the dark continent, ranking them even higher the chimera ants. Can you imagine an enemy stronger then Merium.

These last few chapters have been some what a little of the slow pacing, but im still liking all of the exposition and building that togashi is revealing with the staggering amounts of info dumps. Its like one person said on here, its like reading 20 chapters of bleach. Still, i can't wait till there expedition actually starts.

I know that you know that wasn't made by Togashi, right?

I'm the one who made it. In fact I made my own dark continent storyline back in 2012. http://www.narutoforums.com/showthread.php?p=42323842 That's how I coped with the 2+ year hiatus...... ;_;

that is some serous commitment right there.

I always kind of wondered bout this. The fact that the enemies from the DC might have more of a characterized identity that will possibly be exposed at some point in time. For example the enemies over at the DC, might have some similar division like the Hunter association and maybe even a ring leader. In fact the invasion of the chimera ants might of been even executed in that fashion.

rather then just being monsters, don't get me wrong, the whole evolution aspect of the chimera ants, there species habitats, behaviors and everything was just immensely interesting.

But i some times wonder if there is a more humanistic feel  to there species and something thtat has at a time been originally created hundreds of years ago before even the humans. I would like if togashi would elaborate on this whole concept with the hxh universe. But not create something so far fetched that its like DBZ.

I'll go with emitter for Ging.

He is really hot-blooded.

Just see the election when he fights everyone and last chapters when he was about to punch that guy.

Looks like we are setting sail to DC soon enough... I wonder if Gon and Killua this time will have a role? I don't mind if they dont.

Beyond has the strength to  break away from the Zodiacs and it sound as if he could do it easily. It feels that there is gonna be some unavoidable battles coming soon.

Kurapika, you glorious bastard, never leave us again. Great chapter, perhaps my favorite so far. I really don't know what else to add, except I think the Dark Continent arc has had the strongest start of any Hunter x Hunter arc so far.

Loved the chapter, felt like I was reading 30 bleach chapters lol. So much information crammed in such a small number of pages. I'm a bit worried about that ominous answer on the Q&A about something unexpected coming.

I am not sure about you guys, but the Ants was overrated(Yeah it still dangerous). It so obvious that queen was a loser who flee from DC. It started to out of control because the queen got all those fodder human to eat thus her next generation so overpowered + nen.

So it just makes sense whoever can drift away that ant queen from DC are more dangerous.

But for at least Pitou, Youpi, and Meruem. Probably they able to survive in DC.

For the mole? If it's in the zodiac, i probably suspect that horse the most.

I can't wait for the conflict begin. At least show me Pariston or Ging hatsu, damn it. I afraid that their ability is something absurd like Biscuit's Cookie-chan. that will be the greatest troll. XD

To all people debating about Ging's Nen type, the description made by Hisoka about the association between personalities and nen-type would make him an specialist with no argument. http://hunterxhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Nen

As of enemies and further ado I'd definitely expect stronger opponents, but that's just obvious since we're also dealing with stronger main characters.

I still gotta say that this chapter made me have a higher estimation of the zodiacs' worth, so to speak, specially towards a certain expectation from what Leorio could learn from Cheaddle and Geru; since he's the most incompetent main character Togashi could lift his skills over the situation enveloping this arch...

However I am very concerned about Killua and Alluka, it's been some time since they've gone out of the picture and Illumi is not someone to take lightly.
