i didn't like how this arc ended i was expecting an epic fight with killua and gon against the king not a cop out ending. Also what about gon's arm and him aging really fast?

Ditto. I dont know why people dislike this arc so much I think it was a lot better than Greed Island.

Because people like to see the same and the same all over again. IMO the chimera arc had more content, seriousness and a surprising depth for a shonen manga. Definetely better than GI.

I second the motion, haha. The Chimera Ant arc was so epic. If not for being in hiatus for 2 times (I was really annoyed with it.), that arc should've been a legend. But all in all, Togashi-sensei wrapped up the Chimera arc quite well (If it's really the end for it.)

And is that Ging at the end?

I think so. The last page was mentioning about the "successor" of Netero and conveniently, Ging (I hope it's him!) was shown at the last panel (only his back, if it's him though).

I loved the Chimera Ant arc when it began.  I was able to follow it.  The politicking was exciting and made sense.  Even the battles after the first hiatus were satisfactory (and for y'all complaining about the art, pick up the novels; Togashi cleaned everything up before it was printed).

I loathed how it ended.  There were too many things left untouched, too many questions carrying over to the new arc.  Hopefully Togashi neglected the main characters in the end because we'll be seeing them next week.  I really wish he takes the time to reestablish them before diving into the new story.  I wouldn't mind a healing/training montage at this point.

C'mon, HxH.  I want to love you.  Give me a reason to again.

I don't think the arc is over just yet? I think I've heard that it ends on chapter 118? Even if it did, I really enjoyed this chapter. One thing that gets to me is that everything did indeed get swept under the rug, like Meruem and his Royal Guard never even existed. That bothers me, but at the same time it's a pretty profound statement.

I do have to say I thought the scene with the two ants in the village was very touching.  I did not find it unimportant in the least.

Now on to a more serious question.  Now that palm is an ant, how does she reproduce?  Any ideas?? lol

I thought it was pretty awesome that Reina was that ant, really shows to me that Togashi even remembered a somewhat insignificant detail like that. I think that's part of what makes him such an amazing story teller. Maybe Colt will come back as well?

if that was the ending of the arc then i'm really dissapointed togashi really rushed and skipped so many stuff.

Also who the hell is diego and gyro(i searched gyro in the characters tab of this website and only saw a gyro from one piece).

Anyways sorry for the long rant. Just happy the arc ended and the anime is being animated the same time when one piece's two year time skip starts.

Well, Gyro is the founder and former king of the Neo Green Life(NGL) autonomous region. He only appeared in a single shot frame in chapter 203, where he was seen wearing a very large hood that covered his entire face. His location after the queen`s death is unknown, but it is believe that he is trying to rebuild his empire again. Welfin however still believes that Gyro is alive, and is determined to find him. For Diego, hmmm... I'm not sure really. I can't remember ever reading that name, hehe. (^_~)

Yeah, I'm also glad that the episode premiere of the Hunter x Hunter's anime reboot is on the same day (October 2) as the start of One Piece's 2-year time skip.

Thanks for the clear up and yeah. Both One piece's timeskip and Hunter x Hunter are going to be epic.
