I hate how they always give such tragic yet beautiful flashbacks to what is supposed to be a villain, making me become attached to them, and then they'll probably kill them off. It leaves me depressed every time.

Please elaborate to me what do I have to understand about his mommy issues?

Really? His mommy issues? is that all your accusing him of?

Yeah kamui is a moma's boy, whats wrong with that? Whats wrong with loving ones parents in such a strong manner? And are we gonna forget that he was just a kid then?

Loving his mom dearly as he did made him weak, we all have our weaknesses, and just because his sister was mentally strong enough to be there for their mother doesn't mean he should too. People are different. Why cant you understand that? Maybe im not explaining it fully but if thats the reason why ur hating this chapter so much then you clearly don't understand the meaning of bonds between family members.

Its not that he loves his parents he's just obsessed with his mom. His reasons to kill Umi and Kagura are just retarded, he's just a little kid stuck in grown up body, a crybaby as Kagura calls him, he hasn't matured a day since then. He's just lucky he's Yato so he was gifted with strength and endurance otherwise with that behavior he'd be dead a long time ago.

The whole point of Kamui's mom issue is not that he's obsessed with her but rather his confusion with strength and weaknesses. He came from the strongest warrior race, his dad is umi fucking bozu, but neither him nor his dad was strong enough to save his mom and their family. his mother was supposed to be FUCKING IMMORTAL but because of his dad who was the strongest being in the universe, his mother had to die. he saw his mom as a victim of his family's weakness, hence his desire to be the strongest. he wanted to kill umi because to him Umi possesses the ultimate strength being the strongest Yato, like he told abuto. also Kamui is strongwilled and ambitious and has good leadership skills so what behaviour were you referring to exactly?

oboro's backstory is so cliche it's like sorachi copy paste pieces of other character's backstory to make up his. the only difference is he was dead at the start. srsly the only thing that makes this chapter interesting is the Utsuro/shoyo mystery

Feels nice to learn about Oboro's past. Does that mean he could've been their senpai? lol

Nice chapter to take a break from the conflict with Kamui, never was really invested in that character anyways. Most of his screentime was "he's a psychotic killer with unparalleled levels of power" then came this arc and he suddenly became someone with family issues. Never liked his character unfortunately.

Sadly the fan translations are so poor it's nearly  impossible to understand them... Anyhow, it looks like Takasugi probably won't die because Gintama won't kill characters unless they suddenly increase in screentime and Oboro might not die due to being immortal. I suspect either Oboro changes sides or dies sooner or later... or changes sides then dies, which is more likely because his flashbacks probably will make him less of an antagonist.

Finally more backstory about Oboro, how he was saved and taken into Naraku by Utsuro, and how he trained under him, he was so cute.

In present he takes on Takasugi 1v1 and looks like he takes him down by stabbing him right in the head with that dagger but he also suffered a neck cut. I'm guessing he'll survive due to immortality unless his head got cut off.

Great chapter much better then some of Kamui bullshit.

Im getting tired of ppl calling the kamui arc bull shit :/ if you still ddnt understand anything from that then dont read it and dont bash it plz, sheesh.

Anyhow great chapter again, the gorilla's on a roll. Interesting and sad to c the oboro backstory. Many characters here seem to hav had some troubling childhoods. It looks like he was usturos 1st disciple before gintoki (it seems he has a thing for shiro chans hehehe).

I doubt takasugi's in any real danger, scene reminds me of the one in SA when oboro impaled him with his spear. Lets c what happens next.

Please elaborate to me what do I have to understand about his mommy issues?

@Warrior3 this chapter is perfection bruh especially when it get translated. If fan translations are right Utsuro and Oboro meeting set the start of it all.

Great chapter much better then some of Kamui bullshit. pfft to each their own. Kamui's moments were one of the best foor me and his backstory along with his family was executed greatly. Personally I never cared about Oboro/Utsuro/Takasugi boringness.

Takasugi falling mkes me laugh lol how many times in a row..

This chapter was amazing. I don't understand how you could consider this boring.

Best chapter in a while along with the last chapter.
