Gintama Chapter 554 Discussion

Okaaaaaaayyyy that was unexpected i really like shoyou sensei TT_TT why did u just turn him into a 500 years old man but other than that the plot was awesome didnt mind the whole twist , looking forward to the next chapter (>○<)

Mind-blowing chapter is mind-blowing.

I don't know if any amount of settling in will make me feel any better about this. No matter how I look at it this Utsuro thing just feels like it's taking away meaning from themes/characters/etc rather than adding any.



I'm ok with mostly everything in this chapter, but the "your life has been a lie!!" twist is something I can't swallow.



Oh yeah, it also shoots the historical connection into fricking space.

Shouyo is a bad guy now ?

but hes saying "is for the kids to shut up and sit down " what that means ?

im thinking that sohouyo wanna last fight with gintoki cuz they are "monsters"

This whole arc pretty much ruined Gintama for me.

Mixed feelings for this chapter.

Usually Gintama ends up 8th place or so in weekly chapter ratings but this chapter upset a ton of people. I wonder if Sorachi regrets doing this.



He might. But, do you really think that Sorachi would pull something like this without something up his sleeve? Come on, give the man some credit. He's the gorilla that created GINTAMA. Have some faith people
