Gantz Chapter 381 Discussion

2 more chapters only...seriously?

But seriously, did that character have a name? Are we supposed to know him? Granted, at this point the only characters I can recognize are Kurono, Katou and Tae but I think we didn't get a name for at least 99% of the new characters that appeared in this arc.

I can see why Kaze and Mary was transferred first, if they teamed up they would have roflstomped that Sepiroth alien, lol.



I'm hoping that by "The End", Oku means the end of this arc, then he can move onto the last wrap-up with a few extra chapters. Because there's no way in hell, knowing how he likes to release these 20 page double-panel fillers, he can tie up all the loose ends in 2 chapters. Unless they're, like, 60 pages each. -.-



-Is Nishi still alive? It showed him getting attacked, but never actually dieing(didn't show Sakata dieing either, but still...)

-What about the vampires? They just up and vanished for no apparent reason. Shouldn't they have been transported with the other Gantzers when the businessmen hacked the Gantz system, since they got bombs/chips implanted in their heads as well?

-Sebastian, for obvious reasons.

-Also, that reporter needs to die. He gives Kurono's identity away to the vampires, gets him killed, then acts like they're best friends.

Man I need to re-read this manga sometime again.

I'm potentially scared of this ending.

2 more chapters? Is that some kind of joke? Please tell me it's a joke. I mean, I typically avoid commenting because I think Gantz sucks and I basically read it just to laugh at how much worse it can get... but, low as my opinion of it is, even I didn't expect the ending to be this abrupt (especially considering how much the mangaka drags out everything else). That's just bound to be abysmally bad. I see no possible way to have a respectable ending or tie up any of the glaring loose ends in 2 chapters. I hope I'm wrong. I hope the chapter count is wrong.

They could have attacked together too begin with, but I guess that would have been too logical.

That's right, it's unfair.

Gantz has always been merciless and unfair, so ending it like this without a shard of justice is the perfect way to scream "Go to hell honor, surviving is more important than being heroes and sh*t". On of the most coherent development I've seen in an ending.



I think your argument is perfect! Gantz is all about how unfair life can be and that you gotta do the best of it.



Anyway... 2 chapters? It´ll leave a lot of questions, for sure...
