Gantz Chapter 372 Discussion

i wonder what implications this has for Kurono 1.0? Is it the same soul (data?) that gets transferred into the new being?

Well at least I hope this means that no one else gets revived in the course of this manga.

I too found the reincarnation/soul concept interesting.

With the death of Kurono-clone I kind of feel like Gantz is reaching some kind of conclusion. Although, spending a ridiculous amount of pages on Katou crying was kind of lame, but oh well, it's been a while since that occurred...

The aliens said that in their next lifes people close to each other will have the same relationship, so why does kei and reika who were lovers become mother and son? lol.

So souls do exist. I guess even in this manga there's some ray of hope.

This also brings up something else.  Do Kurono 1.0 and Kurono 2.0 have different souls?  It could be that some time in the next 19 years, Kurono 1.0 dies and is the one used for the rebirth.  Or it could be a combination of the two.

The soul explanation also brings up some more questions .  Does it mean that there are a finite number of souls?  Can a soul be copied for reincarnation to make up for a limit (Besides the cloning thing)?  Is the soul of everyone always a reused soul, or are new souls created?  Do souls eventually stop being used?  Will these questions be answered in the remaining chapters?  Probably not.

Actually, he never said anything about "soul", he said "data" instead. So, like any data it can be duplicated any number of times, created and deleted. I think that was the implications here.

People is not important, they are just a data in an organic shell...
