Gantz Chapter 364 Discussion

yah gantz is ending but i thought the creator specificly said he wanted the entire series to end on december 21st(aka the suppossed end of the world)



so this fight is just a normal fight that so happens to be in the finale

I can't imagine how hard it must be to draw Gantz, just look at the mothership lifting off but sometimes I really can't figure out what the hell is happening in fights.



How dare Nishi shoot at Tae, he either missed her and shot the bike or Kurono kicked the bike in Nishi's laser, I can't think of anything else right now.

Agreed. Nishi's father knows his son is messed up, but loves him anyways. Kurono turned out ok despite his issues, yet his own parents spite him.

This chapter was interesting but I don't like the fact that Nishi was shown as the bad guy when in a previous chapter it seemed like he was changing for the better.........



Also, am I the only one that thinks gantz isn't going to end any time soon. Although this battle with the aliens and stuff seems like it gonna end the story, lets not forget about the german interpreter (sebastian) who practically made a plane crash. I feel like a showdown with him would finally be the end of gantz.



Lastly, I know this a discussion for chapter 364 and me bringing this up might be a nuisance to some people so I want to apologise before hand.



If we think back a bit, reika's death does not make the least bit of sense. I felt like the whole point of the new Kuruno being introduced was because of reika and now this happens.



Lets look at these scenarios.

1) In chapter 299, it seemed like kuruno 2 was gradually developing feelings for reika, so I thought there would be more development on the relationship between these two characters.

2)  When hyouma was introduced and he made the comment about reika's boyfriend, I got the impression that kuruno was offended and then I thought to myself this dude actually really likes reika.

3) Then in this chapter before kuruno went down he said he wished that he saw tae one last time and then when reika died he said that he loved her.

All these things seem a little confusing.......I feel like that there was no  point in giving her that much development and then killing her off in such a way, without her even getting to hear kuruno saying he loved her.

So am betting my two cents that reika would be revived in a later chapter.



On the bright side we would get to see Kuruno 2 go berserk on those aliens........but I get the feeling that there would be a disagrement which might eventually lead to fight between the two Kuruno's....cos thinking about it, The first kuruno has decided to find a way to resolve the war without killing the aliens and reika who kuruno 2 supposedly loved has been killed off by the very same aliens kuruno 1 wants to save, so it might lead to some complications. (Just a theory tho).
