Fairy Tail Chapter 499 Discussion

Why do people try to make reality out of anime/manga.  If you want that go to the non-fiction , that's where you will find it.  Why is magic supposed to be like reality.  If it was would it still be magic.  So why have a problem with how Juvia helps save Gray through magic. If people wanted reality I don't think we would have stories with magic in them.

Gray shows he's one of FT's best character in the manga. Just an excellent show of determination, and as well as showing off how much Juvia means to him. Great character. and the level of savagery he showed in the last panel was pure badassery.

I wonder how many FT fans will shed tears for Juvia and fall for Mashima's writing style AGAIN. FT fans never learn, do they? Kudos to Hiro for keeping his readers "doubtful" a character will live after pulling another stunt like this. Either he's just THAT good with these kinds of chapters or his fans are...something else.

Honestly, to all Juvia fans out there, the best thing to happen to her at to this point is remain dead.

Think rationally now. Wouldn't it be better for Hiro reputation as writer (what has left of it) and to the series to have their emotioanl stakes matched for once, instead of having her back just because your selfish ass want it to be?

Also, wouldn't it make sense if people actually, you know, DIE in a WAR making sacrifices?
