Lol how is DeS a lame plot power for Gray @ Fai?

It's one of the better written powerups in the damn manga.

And why did Brandish appear suddenly and takes away Natsu and co? If she thought that Gray is the only one who can stand against Invel Winter then why she didn't take Juvia too?



Lot of things just doesn't make sense.



It's probably because of Gray absorbing MM that is eating away at his heart whenever he uses DES.

@ixarising:Surviving a spell by burning it doesn't make him invincible. Based on the power scaling so far Zero would be weaker than a Spriggan. Zancrow's god flames being eaten was an asspull as well, it should have been impossible for him to eat them by simply emptying his reserves of energy.



Zeref already knew that Natsu would no longer be able to use that technique, as he already said before after Natsu retreated post-activation that now he would no longer have a way to kill him. Obviously, Zeref would have informed his Spriggans about this.

It was established that several magic powers can diseable her ability and that she requires magic power to utilize it to begin with.



Similar how Suigetsu coul be paralyzed when hit by Raiton so no she can´t.

He did survive Zero's Genesis Zero by burning the spell. In fact, he survived several spell that should've killed him, the best example being when he ate Zancrow's Flame God's Fire by nullifying his magic while being inside the black flames, something Makarov condemns as being equivalent to potential suicide cause it means you're completely defenseless as a normal human is inside those black flames.



Besides, Invel only saw the fight between Natsu and Zeref when he was using Igneel's power. Natsu never outright said to all of his enemies it's a one time technique. Invel may have judged Natsu's strength from them and deem that he's too dangerous even for a Spriggan level.

And now Invel vs gray is gone... just like that! haha! anyways



Wait did Invel just... lock Juvia and gray... No! and Brandish just took off with Natsu and Lucy. leaving gray and juvia fight till death Woah! way to give some gruvia moment Invel and Brandish! haha! and yes invel just had to choose juvia. Does Brandish know  whats Invel plan is? and she somehow protected Natsu and Lucy? or maybe the other way around.

someone more likely juvia is going to sacrifice for this fight. Will this be the moment gray turns dark? and defeat END? Is that why brandish took Natsu with her?

So far, this is my favorite chapter, really looking forward  to the next chapter! can't wait! fairy tail finally reaching 500 I think something big is about to happen there.

and I just noticed Juvia calling gray just "GRAY". no sama. at the end page. That was a first! hmmm. interesting this is getting really serious

It's not an element. Its kind of like related to Zeref since 'darkness' is the roots of Black Arts from which demons are made and considering DeS magic is made to kill demons, it's not surprising.
