Fairy Tail Chapter 498 Discussion

The fightinhg  part was a bit easy to predict. But I think no one was expecting that last part. Juvia and Gray have to kill each other?? I wanna know wath's going to happen in the next chapter, 'cause I don't want them to kill each other.

Sorry, guys, I meant Devil Slayers. Mashima added a new element to Devil Slayers out of nowhere. Unless that darkness stuff was there before. Anybody knows?

@ixarising:If he was not killable through normal methods that would be an asspull. Being ressurected does not equal unkillable. He's not an Edo Tensei. Again, you are trying to cover up the plotholes.

Havn't enjoyed a chapter like this in a while. So gray and invel face off and it Achualy has some meaning in developing plot, Took you a few tries mashima but you've finally done it. Invel, other than Irene I guess, is the only sprigan that interests me with all the others being completely bland characters. The battle itself is short but I had goocebumbs when gray turned to his demonic form XD.  What Irene does to further the plot is discuss the darkness in gray. This theme is probably a build up to Gray Vs END. My prodictiom is that once gray finds out that nutsu is END his mostly likely going to go berserk and go super saiyan on nutsu's ass. Nutsu unfroze himself and his friends and brandish comes along from no where. Stupid to say the least and this is probably one of Mashimas old tricks to keep nutsu occupied until the climax of the arc when nutsu can steal all the spot light while everyone watches from the side taking about how great he is and shit😫😫. I'm fairly skeptical about next chapter, I'll have the biggest face palm if this ice chain thing is soloved by the "power of love". Hopefully mashima can be original next chapter , although we all know one ones gonna die.

@Canaas. Asspull or not, Natsu did survive being inside Zancrow's flames without magic.



And even if Zeref did tell them that, Invel is the careful type, he even froze a defenseless Mavis just for safety purpose. And when Zeref ask him to unfreeze her, Invel still cast the Ice Slave on Mavis.

@Canaas, maybe Invel and the other Spriggan doesn't want to invoke Zeref's wrath by killing Natsu directly. Even as enemies, Natsu is still Zeref's brother.

TF? I know it's your opinion but Mira is a faaaaaaaar better character than Juvia. She's an obsessive, thirsty freak who keeps screaming GREY SAMA forever.



Anyways, you needn't worry since NOBODY dies in fairy tail (except the villains)
