True, I forgot about those defects. They are extremely deadly though and require around the clock care I know that much. I feel like that is much different from a birth defect than an artificially created wound that wound tear the vasculars of the heart opposed to a defect that causes a hole in the heart where the vasculars have tissue still enclosing them allowing them not to bleed out and just have irregular pressure and heartbeat.
No they don´t, that´s just halfwit internet rumors. I had a form of this defect from birth onwards and it dissapeared untill I turned 15. The only thing I had to do was carry special passport with me and go to the cardiologist every few years. The son of my moms friend though had the same problem, his case was more dire because instead of shrinking the hole in his heart grew as he was getting older.
On the other hand, Hiro cannot be blamed defying any rules in this situation.
He can be blamed for missleading the audience with false implications for nth time, but not for how his copout is written.
Someone could argue that the shrinking effect on the heart was so potent that it it shrinked the injury beyond the size of blood particles.
Is it lazy writing? Yes, but not lazier as other Shounen. It´s not a plothole though.
Informative on your end of dealing with it. As far as the manga issue goes, we will just have to agree to disagree :P. I do understand that it probably could have been shrunken down to cellular level if given the proper situation, it just doesn't seem likely with how precise she had to be with Natsu's tumor/cancer and her being far away from Mira and doing it in a couple of seconds without evaluation. Either way, we have different view points on it, so like I said agree to disagree. Also, I don't really see it as a plothole, just more of an asspull. It definitely is lazy writing though.
I most likely won't change your mind and you won't likely change mind xD.
