What an asspull right? A god slayer (has been introduced a long time ago) is beating a "god". This can't be!!


I love how they bitch about third origin and the use of the power of the future, yet fanboy over adult gon and other similar stuff that happens in most shounen.

This is a 1/5 chapter. I knew the Spriggans were doomed when Mashima opted to have 12 instead of 5

Actually that's on Spriggan every 3.6 chapters, but at least I can say with the Wizard Saints out the Spriggans can say they have a win/step towards their goal now.



Bro 18 chapters is really really short. And the fact these were supposed to be the main antagonists?! That's underwhelming at its worst. 5 Spriggans were either beaten or turned to Fairy Tail's side in 18 chapters. I could understand 1 or 2 but FIVE?! You're joking right? And the Spriggans won't win because they've been thrashed with very little resistance.   And they don't have a Hell's Gate like the demons to revive and grow more stronger



Add to the fact the Spriggans haven't really done anything. They've made no impact except Brandish's intro but look what happened her lol.



Dimaria got her ass handed to her by Chelia of all characters. Her fight with Wendy was decent but that was it. The Spriggans are one more embarrassing moment away from Avatar level lmao



Mashima stated that they had originally planned for 5 or 6 Spriggans but he changed it to 12 for certain reasons, so hopefully when it comes down to that number, that is when they'll be truly fleshed out.

What's wrong with that? Chelia is a god slayer and DiMaria had a god takeover so it is completely logical plus the move she used against DiMaria was said to be able to kill Wendy in GMG by Jellal. People complain when side characters don't get enough screen time and they also complain when the SC do get the screen time, jeez.



"Chelia is a god slayer" couldn't careless. Natsu and the other dragon slayers could do a damn thing against the dragons and they all have better feats than Chelia.



She was a background character who barely had anything to her than being lolis with Wendy. She had little feats to suggest anything let alone take down Dimaria but the plot called which still makes very little sense. Your other argument still matter little considering Chelia didn't kill Wendy and Wendy got shot by DiMaria



Is she important in anyway? Why should Chelia deserve screentime?

Not particularly surprised that Sherria ended up being the only target of Third Origin. No way was Wendy gonna lose all her magic now. Nevertheless, still enjoyed the chapter. Once we get to a lower Spriggan count, I'm hoping the fights end up being a bit more immersive. With 12, it was already gonna be difficult to hold a high level of intensity for a lengthy duration for all the fights. All Spriggans (and their fights) aren't equal, hopefully.

Wait, I could have sworn Natsu stopped the Gray and Frosche thing from happening. If I remember correctly, I was confused as to why people still expected it to happen after Natsu stopped Minerva and Rogue from going...somewhere. I can hardly remember.



But it was clear Mashima was trying to kill the whole Gray and Frosche thing with that Natsu interception. Never understood why fans did not get that. Then again, I'm a writer, therefore I think like one. You guys consume FT just as fans.

I dont know how to react to that, one way is me thinking "whelp, then I guess only 4 or 5 Spriggans are actually going to be something, the rest are fodders".



Other way is that all of the Spriggans are still alive and are going to be relevant to something later on.



Overall I don't know about how to feel with those fights, not sure if Hiro really changed his style of fights or he's doing it on purpose only to make the Spriggans return later on.

I mean, even if you say that all of the Spriggans fight so far have been logic, they still felt way too underwhelming comparing to fights of previous arcs and judging by the Spriggans reputation alone they should be having fights much more epic.



To be honest any hype I've had for the Spriggans fight died on this one, I don't really look foward to Neinhart fight even though we have Jellal,Erza and Kagura against him, I only look foward to his personality.



Do you think the 12 spriggan will fill in as sacrifices to open a new gate of some sort

Instead of using lucy, Mabry Yukino instead will take that place, and have to sacrifice herself. After zeref flashback we know lucy is destined to have all 12 keys eventually

I don't really care about chapters like these. Both the chapters and the characters are uninteresting to me. I hope all the other spriggans die in 1 chapter and we get to see more of zeref and acnologia. They are the only interesting characters in the manga imo.



that's the problem of showing acnologia from the start of this arc/war, we all think about him because he is op and can beat anyone. The hype is too strong but it's sad some do not  give a care for the spriggans anymore

I feel like this is becoming predictable now. Who didn't see Cheria taking 3rd origin instead of Wendy so Wendy can still use her healing abilities and then Cheria basically 1 shotted Dimaria after being attacked by a god only 1 time. Dimaria, an op character and another spriggan overhyped and used as fodder again. I am still enjoying the story, but these fights are pitiful.
