Fairy Tail Chapter 450 Discussion

Whoever dares to say that Fairy Tail has a weak story can take a remote and stuck it up where the sun don't shine. Fairy Tail has best story I have seen in a while, especially as it comes closer to an end. And to be perfectly honest, this had more impact than any flashback story I have seen in Naruto or Bleach.



Also, no wonder Zeref is so fucked up. He is like a live paradox of that world. I feel for him losing Mavis like that. In the end he doesn't really seem to be truly evil guy. He is just a guy  who has to do bad things because this is literally his nature (When all he wanted was to explore magic). I hope he eventually gets what he wants - peace of death.

It's chapters like this one that make you want to keep up with the series. Mashima has been stepping up his game lately. Great chapter!

Did you miss Erza and Jellal, I think that was a kiss.. or Gajeel and Levy, tho she did give air to him... literally, their lips still touched one another.I'm pretty sure he pushed her away.

Zeref and Mavis kissed. Holy shit. xD Once again, not much of one for shipping, but...after their conversation there...



So...is the reason why Zeref wants Mavis, because he is in love with her? Or could it be that the Ankhseram's Curse is a key to finding the One True Magic, and it can only be unlocked with the two of them, or something?



If u want to know more of Mavis' story , you should read Fairy Tail Zero.. It covers all of details of Mavis' story before chapter 449..like how she met FT's founder ..etc

Maybe they just found her dead. And then put her into the lacrimal because they still sensed some magical power from her?

While reading Fairy Tail Zero, I was hoping for Mavis and Yury to get paired but that most certainly didn't happen. I was a bit surprised to see Mavis and Zeref actually kiss but it was sweet... until the immortal Mavis died. Seriously? That really is a contradiction.

But one thing kind of irked me; the Mavis/Zeref kiss was like the Jerza one. Why doesn't Mashima draw a proper kiss? Oh wait, he drew the Gajeel/Levy kind-of-kiss and that page was absolutely awesome. The why are we treated to only shadows in this chapter? Sigh... Oh well, it doesn't really matter that much.

Next chapter, Fairy Heart. We really need that explanation. I was sure that Mavis sealed herself away so that she wouldn't kill anyone else but if she's dead then I don't know why she's sealed. Maybe Zeref is preserving her body and hoping to revive her? But that wouldn't explain how Fairy Heart is a weapon.

Going to have to wait until next week.
