Fairy Tail Chapter 450 Discussion

Well I look at Makarov and Precht relationship differently now. We know now by the age of 4 both parents are dead, and raised in a guild, and Precht was not just a mentor figure, but he was probably was like a father to Makarov and that is why he didn't kill him when had a chance after Grimore Heart's defeat and Zeref had to do it for him.



Also explains why everyone in Fairy Tail is not just guild mates but family, Makarov had no blood relatives most of his life, thus his guild was a family, and still lives that to this day even when he has blood relatives like Iwan and Laxus. They are much his children as Laxus is.

Mashima wasn't kidding when he said thsi chapter was going to be good.



So,the curse of Arkhseram also messes up one's mind and makes it contradictory. Poor Zeref. Not only does he kill indiscriminately,but his thoughts no longer are his.



Zeref probably loved Mavis more than she loved him. That's probably why the curse killed her. In a way,Mavis got what she wanted.



Still,I can understand why Zeref's curse was so efficient back on Sirious and why it hadn't activated on

fairy tail zero. Zeref was quite detached and despite being kind probably no longer cared about life.  However,falling in love with Mavis and then killing her made him remember how precious life is.



And I wouldn't be surprised if fairy heart was an attempt of resurrecting Mavis or at least an attempt to preserve her body. I can kinda of imagine why Precht opted to study the dark arts and why Warrod left the guild now.



I wonder,every time Zeref is mentioned,the members of fairy tail kind of enter a daze and don't connect the dots. Mavis when telling her story mentioned that Zeref had a brother,but I doubt anyone will question her on that.

I always wished Mavis was the mother of Makarov, oh well, but still knowing that she's the one that named him, that's pretty cool!





So I'm guessing now we have an idea in why Zeref wants the Lumen Histoire. Mostly just to get Mavis back, and maybe revive her, so she can live with him. Who knows.

If Hiro doesn´t pull something new I get it, there´s a principle behind the curse.



1. You try to defy nature (the gods).

2 The gods curse you by killing whatever you love.

3. In order to not kill what you love you must hate it (humans are unable to no feel).

If you lie to yourself the curse knows it, therefore your feelings must be true to work.

4.Because you hate life to preserve it, you hate yourself and don´t want to preserve it because you hate it (you become a demon).

5.Because you hate life, life hates you and you start hating life for hating you.



6. The solution: In order to break the circle someone you hate must start loving you. You´re not supposted to love that person, because if you´d do he´d die.

Jokes aside, Natsu won´t be the one to kill Zeref.

It´s gonna be Lucy. Lucy is the character that´s the most asociated with love.

Her love for any form of life will purify Zeref and unite him with Mavis.



Prediction: Everyone will die, but Lucy will bring them back with her power of love.. I think juvia has a shot. The only thing her character does is love gray with every ounce of her being. Her speech about in tortures lean towards her understanding  the one true magic. Mabry it will be Lucy and juvia



I couldn't agree more, I actually believe that Juvia has an equal chance at this like Lucy, since she loves Gray and the guild so much. Both of them have a family they cherish (the guild) and their loved one (Gray and Natsu) that they want to protect. I hope that Hiro won't pull a Rave Master on Juvia, I actually want my Gruvia ship intact!



Juvia is no main character, so forgett it.



I can asure you Juvia won´t get Reina´d Hiro already commented on that, but nonetheless Lucy is Ellie.



No way in Hell will Hiro at the end pull a troll and say y all the Lucy buildup FU I´m gonna make Juiva the heroine.



Anyway if it makes you happy we will see Fairy Tail children 200%.

One will be Gruvia´s lovechild don´t worry.



Remember how Mira thought about Elfman and Evers child. Well the joke will be that the child will be really beautiful and kawai.

Bad choice of example

Wow Zeref has been living so long in contradiction of himself, he doesn't even know how he truly thinks anymore.

This was one of the sweetest and saddest moments I ever read on shounen.



Probably the best fairy tail's couple. What do you guys think, will they have a happy ending at the very end or will simply both die?

Is Natsu already revived before Mavis died? :0 If so, Zeref should be able to revive Mavis after he accidentally killed her since he revived Natsu himself.
