Great chapter, Lumia Historia better live up to the hype. Doranbolt suppose to errase everyone's memories including his own, I didn't think it was possible to erase your own memories. If that s the case, Makarov is not going to die because if he does than only Gildarts knows the secret he is who knows where, if he was planning on dyin Makarov would tell Doranbolt erase everyone's memories except for whoever he picked as his successor maybe Lexus.
The dragon fight continues, it is just there, I think they both should just go home, they don't really fit into this story, Hiro just wanted for the chapter 400 celebration.
I thought for a moment Mard Guille was going to say he was Zereff or E.N.D.'s son, but the reveal that they were created to kill Zereff. If these demons weren't so arrogant and loathing of humans, than maybe they could have worked together. How self loathing can you be Zereff, but I guess Tartarus doesn't know things have changed, Zereff no longer wants to die yet, he wants to destroy the world. I think if E.N.D. was revived Zereff kick E.N.D. butt and say "I change my mind."
Finally Gray arrives, and I wonder if his new demon slayer powers is going to immune to Face because I think it is curse magic, so even after Face activates the good guys won't be completely helpless.
Excited to see what comes next. I guess we all jumped the gun on the chapter title that it was about Mavis or Makarov destorying their bodies, it was referring to Zereff. Next chapter "The Absolute Demon", it can't be E.N.D. I don't think he is coming till this part is over, and we just started it.
Unless this is the last part of the Tartaros arc.

Let's just hope for next chapter for this explanation on the 1st FT Master! That crystal! That save at the end of the chapter! So much questions. O.o

Indeed. I can't wait for Lumen Histoire to come into Effect. There has to be a crucial reason why Makarov would want the memory of its existence wiped from everyone in the vicinity.

Normally, an ending like that would piss me off. But seeing as how Gray always gets the shit end of the stick in this series, I'm okay with him getting some action. Not like he beat Mard Geer anyway. Though, I will say I hate how Tempesta was erased from the story, what was the point of bringing him back? Also, I hope Doranbolt doesn't actually delete everyone's memories, it would just be annoying at this point.
So, not sure if Natsu = E.N.D is deconfirmed or not;
Zeref made demons to kill him.....and he DID want Natsu to kill him.
HOWEVER, Zeref sealed away E.N.D, Natsu is still around and Zeref was infact happy to see that.
Nowhere in this chapter was it said that Zeref sealed END. Marde just said SOMETHING happened. That something was likely the fight with Igneel

As stated in one of the previous pages I believe the seal merely split END into two. The personality and majority of END'S power was locked away in the book. Leaving a blank slate body behind. That blank slate was then taken in and raised by Igneel who realized that raw power could never defeat END.
That does leave some questions, when E.N.D was sealed has to play into effect seeing as how we've seen Natsu as a young boy, when E.N.D was sealed, was Natsu born anew? Or was E.N.D a child at the time too? All of this is reminding me of both Majin Buu and Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening...

On a side note, if Natsu is End and Gray wants to destroy Tartarus, then a Natsu vs Gray fight might finally come? been waiting ages for a serious fight between them. Though face activating might crush my dreams. D:

True that. With Igneel warning Natsu not to open the book. And previously how Zeref said that Natsu would be the one to defeat him. It certainly looks like Natsu is or is going to be END. Well time to see how this manga will end.
It's not ending. THere's still a few loose ends to tie up plus Mashima said he wants to get to the 10 year aniversary.
Other parts of the chapter that were very interesting. Makarov's determination to keep Lumen Histoire Existence a secret even at the cost of erasing EVERYONE's memories of it with Doranbalt's help.

Exactly. My only hope now is that this undeserved buff is only temporary like say Fairy Glitter was for Cana.
