So Sayla's plan is a bomb. And Elfman is actually going through with it....

Midnight didn't even flinch or move his head when Zero attacked...and he was the one furthest in the back.No way he wouldn't have noticed it...and that smirk,he is up to something.



Zero killing Jellal is extremely anti climatic.That smirk troubled me,I thought he was serious.And honestly,Brain looked pretty dead to me.Cobra after all really tried to kill him and wouldn't have messed it up  like that.He is a pro,after all.



A friend of mine also reminded me that Midnight can reflect and twist the light around him,casting realistic illusions,so that Jellal was probably an illusion.He could easily tank dark capriccio in the pre time-skip,and Natsu could block one with his bear hands,although with lots of effort.



And it is quite convenient,jellal dies just as that guy located him.Also,a guy in a forum made me remember that Zero can only awaken when all oracion seis are defeated and their prayers dispelled.I thought that Brain dying was also another possibility,but since that wasn't ever said,and the rest of oracion seis were quite puzzled as to how Zero awakened,looks like i was right to be cautious.



So,that Zero is most likely another illusion But boy,to fool Tartarus Jellal even tricked Meredy,and Midnight "allowed" his companions to attacking "Jellal".Boy,"to fool your enemies,you must also fool your allies",touche. I imagine now they are gonna follow tartarus to face's location and destroy them both at once.



The only issue is when the two of them planned this.Since we were  definetly seeing an illusion,that Midnight was probably am impostor too from the start...and that both of them were talking in secret while "Jellal" and Meredy were "confronting" and interacting with Oracion Seis.



Also,the silver thing.People said if he knew Natsu,he would react accordingly."Natsu,of all people".There you have it.Well,things are going brilliantly.

Nooooo Jellal better not die from the likes of Zero

I'm quite surprised at the amount of people believe Jellal has died or will die.

I always thought that he has a plan backed up, so everyone should relax... Jellal's got this.

And I'm also leaning more into the theory of Gray being Silver... or the other way around, whatever.

Did Zero just pull a Piccolo?



Amazing chapter. I have an itching feeling Jellal isn't dead because if he is and FACE's activation is an instant  game ender then there is no hope other than temporal magic.

Wrong. In one of  Mashimas reviews of tankōbon 32 he stated himself that Zeref will show up.

If you remember Igneel said also that it's time to show up for him.

The tournament arc should turn out to a new dragonfeast that contains dragons, humans and demons. That was mentioned long time ago.



Now Mashima is doing that what he couldn't do before.



There's no reason to when there's other arcs to do it. If Igneel failed 400Years ago to destroy end he would fail now as well. Dragons will NOT show up.



Igneel is the only one who has knowledge about END and this time he isn't alone.



You presume he was alone 400 years ago. If anything the fact that Atlas Flame knows of the battle proves there were other dragons there as well.
