You don't give a character a weapon for him to never use it. I don't think Hiro would lay out the idea of a world where all mages are rendered powerless, only to leave such an interesting possibility unexplored. Face must be activated, and to that end Jellal must die.

I agree Jellal is probably still alive, given Erza isn't there to witness his death (how much more suffering must she endure?), but somewhere along the way Jellal will be killed, unless Hiro makes up another way to unseal Face.

Wow Mashima, even though I had a very good feeling it was going to happen, Zero 'killing' Jellal was just...Omo. Poor Meredy. I hope she holds her ground and shows Oracion seis what she can do. Wonder what'll happen when Erza hears about it? There's probably going to be some telephatic Jerza moment when her Jellal senses start tingling lol. XD

It's kinda obvious he isn't going to actually die, but more likely than not Mashima is going to keep him alive.

And ELFMAN! I'm so disappointed in him. The entire guild for Lisanna? Cana's caught on, so hopefully she'll do something about it.

That Crawford guy creeps me out more and more each chapter. O.o

Anyway 5/5, loved it. Especially since its pretty much confirmed Silver is Gray from the future. I suspect his hatred for his past self has something to do with Juvia.

Can't wait for the next chapter :)

Erza too much suffering.

C'mon Cana...stop Elfman.

Can't stand the Erza torture anymore >~<

Jellal dead?! No way XD but it was brutal O_O

LisannaxNatsu moment was fun

Fav part of the chap was Silver's "did it have to be Natsu" tsundere Gray XD

I mean the magic tournament arc.

They're unrelated.

Wrong. In one of  Mashimas reviews of tankōbon 32 he stated himself that Zeref will show up.

If you remember Igneel said also that it's time to show up for him.

The tournament arc should turn out to a new dragonfeast that contains dragons, humans and demons. That was mentioned long time ago.

Now Mashima is doing that what he couldn't do before.

There's no reason to when there's other arcs to do it. If Igneel failed 400Years ago to destroy end he would fail now as well. Dragons will NOT show up.

Igneel is the only one who has knowledge about END and this time he isn't alone.

You presume he was alone 400 years ago. If anything the fact that Atlas Flame knows of the battle proves there were other dragons there as well.

Doesn't make sense. Atlas was saying that Igneel alone tried to destroy END. If Atlas was present 400 years ago and fought alongside Igneel he had said "we tried to destroy the book but failed".

Then explain how Atlas knew first hand.

400 years ago Atlas and Igneel were foes which fought each other several times. But after some time they became friends and Igneel talked about his actions against Zeref. Simpel as that, I think.

Except Atlas was already friends with Igneel and called him DEAR friend when he was summoned through the eclipse gate. From the same timeframe that Zirconius existed in which implies middle of the war. Try again

My prediction is that OC joined Jellal earlier and Nightmare used his power to create illusion to fake Jellal death at some point to blind tartaros.Good point O.O

Did Zero just pull a Piccolo?

I was thinking the same lol, only Goku was missing to hold him down.

Still I'd love to see that third seal open, but Jella to die is just too much for Mashima to handle.

We'll see tho, nice chapter.

Look at Silvers reaction in chapter 368. In my opinion it's clear that Silver is Gray,.

I'm starting to think that the "Absolute Zero" guy (The Ice Demon Slayer) is Gray in the future.

Great fanservice as always, love you Mashima for doing that! (Hoping that his new manga series is going to be ecchi)

hmm this chapter make me to think, what happend to the gray in the future? and why is he with demons?why changed his name?where is natsu?

i remember when they said acnologia was a human who learned dragon slayer magic from the dragons and used it to kill many dragons and because he used his dragon slayer magic so many times he changed to a dragon, and now the question is what if future natsu changed to a dragon? and call himself igneel? and he came back to past and he trained himself?

Siver = Gray's embittered kid from the future who grew up seeing his dad going down to the guild nightly and getting drunk with his friend Natsu rather than properly raising his own son and showering love on his beautiful wife, Juvia.  After one night seeing his dad drag himself in, drooling and stark naked, he snaps:  "Dammit, I'm going to go back in time and fix this using whatever Future Rogue did in Chapter 324.  I bet I'm even one of the future people Arcadios mentioned on page 5!"

Remember, blue+gray=silver.  Actually, it probably doesn't, but it sounds catchy.

So silver is Trunks.
