^ Mirajane being on par with Erza is just meaning she's Erza's equal, which doesn't make her stronger, ergo strongest in FT.



Meredy being able to link and off herself along with her opponent doesn't make her the strongest either, because well...it makes her the queen of draws in a match atleast XD if she's dead, I can't quite consider her the winner

Personally, I think it would be more likely if it were the Princess herself (from the future).  Even if you were right, I'm not sure why her mother would cry for Natsu/Fairy Tail.  I want to believe it's someone with strong bonds to them, preferably a main guild member.



If her magic feels similar to zeref then Lucy's scent can also be unrecognizable especially if she's been showing up over the past 7 years at each tournament

Although I find Minerva annoying. It will be hard to watch a three way battle.

"Ensue plot/character induced scenario" Means everything that happened after the Fairy Law, that's why I didn't mention it (Gajeel taking the hit for Natsu).  Laxus lost his "purpose" and became unstable... just like Ultear became unstable because of her mother's memories/relationship with Gray.  That was the comparison I was making.



Anyway, if you think Minerva is FAR above Ultear, and 7 years + completing Time Arc mean nothing, then that's your opinion, so good for you.  I'll respect it.  



My opinion, Ultear is the most useful/powerful female mage in Fairy Tail at this current point and time.  Kagura and Erza have an advantage with physical/swordsmanship, but not in magic.  Minerva who seems to be magic dependant, no way in hell do I see her besting Ultear.
