Fairy Tail Chapter 311 Discussion

You all do realise Laxus lost just because he made stupid in-fighting decisions? If he hadn't spent like 60% of his magic power into Fairy Law and used only his lightning magic to clear them without bs-ing through, also not fighting Mistogan before, preparing Thunder Palace lacrimas, be emotionaly unstable about grampa etc.. but mainly if he just didn't cast Fairy Law, he would've beaten them to a pulp.

I think Laxus is surely only below Gildartz in the guild, Erza would last against him only because of the lightning reducing thunder goddess armor... he would've even won vs. the 2 dragons slayers in the previous arc.



About Ultear, her magic may not be as good vs some of the formentioned magics, but I wouldn't underestimate her. Her fight vs. Grey and lose was more of an asspull then a clear victory to me, I as a great Grey fan don't even count that among the good Grey fights. Also, I'm pretty sure she would beat Natsu (if we don't put in the FT logic of Natsu being unbeatable unless it's a random scene in the guild or Gildartz/Makarov/Purehito whom I consider the strongest in FT so far.)

As swords are not part of the body, Ultear can easily make them corode, and her ice molding magic (the same as Ul's who was told to be on WS level) is highly superior to Greys. So no. I would easily put her among the strongest females, if not the strongest. FT members and all others with high motive get her lvl when she's joking, but no one considers what a beast would Ultear be with "the power of feelings and friendship".

While I agree Demon Mira and Meredy are strong as hell, I don't agree that they're the strongest and that there's any need to mention them in that context...I didn't contradict myself, you just missed the main discussion theme.

And yeah, Juvia also. She's S class and has a nice power, but she can't compare to Erza, supposedly Kagura/Minerva and to Ultear.



I'm still going for Ultear as the strongest female mage here.

(It would be fun if it turns out Obaba Obasama or w/e her name is to be the strongest female wizard though XD)

Well, I'm not gonna argue further w/ Mira and Erza, cuz we both agree that Ultear is #1.

i dont think breaking jelly out would be hard for anyone gray level or upwards,considering the average magic counsil guy :P.problem here is hiding after that, which is easier if you're not in a large group like a guild
