Fairy Tail Chapter 311 Discussion

I know that both erza and kagura are bosses but I can't help but get the feeling that they might team up for this one.

Definitely, but Ultear is up there for sure as well ^^.

Somewho or another i want to say that the cloaked guy who showed up in front of Natsu ,and co. is Zeref don't ask where i'm getting that from but thats my guess lets see how that pans out later though.

Wrong. The moment she realized time arc didn't work, she switched to her core magic which was Ice Molding magic and in that she was overpowering Gray.



After watching the episode again. I retract my statement that Gray 'overpowered' her. Thank you for recorrecting me I now agree that you are right. At the very best Gray was only on par with her at times but 95% of the match she held the upper hand and would have beaten Gray had she not been distracted by the memories of her mother. Though I did not mean to sound as if Gray was stronger than her.



On another note, I just wanted to state that I do like Ultear, and at the moment I don't know who the strongest female mage is, only that she is in my top 5 strongest female mage, she could well be the strongest. Her ice molding magic is indeed great, though I'm not sure if she has refined it as much as she has refined her time arc magic.

Also in any case I can't see any one beating Laxus in the tournament other than Jura or Sting atm. Ultear's fighting power I think is just below Laxus's/Gildartz's level. Mirajane is only at max as strong as Erza. Meredy magic is scary but in a real fight at this moment in time, she would never kill herself to defeat the enemy unless Ultear is already dead.

And so this hopefully concludes my part in the discussion on the strongest female mage until more information is revealed.
