Put someone "reasonable" other whom you'd consider more powerful than Gray in that fight instead, let's say Natsu or Gajeel for example, 9 times out of 10, Ultear would've raped.



Also, 7 years have passed now, she's hanging with the likes of Jellal and has evolved her Time-Arc even further, to the point of completion.   



Gray was the worst possible opponent for her because of a plot/character induced scenario.  Not to mention, she had 2-3 previous battles already, one of them being Zeref.



You're telling me that Natsu was superior to Laxus at the end of the Fighting Festival arc?

I was thinking the same thing, perhaps it relates back to the "physical" ages of Natsu and Gajeel hinted back in the Fighting Festival arc?  Or maybe the Princess is referring to the hooded girl.



Great chapter overall, Hooded girl confronts Fairy Tail, Erza and Kagura clash blades intensely, and then to top it all off Minerva comes in for a 3-way (lol).  I was hoping that Laxus/Orga/Jura got handled first, but I guess the longer I wait the more I'll appreciate it, the future Master should be saved for last after all.

So I am guessing the reveal of who the hooded person is is being saved for the pre-golden-week cliffhanger or whatever reason.



Interesting tidbits about Princess name being named after that dragon.

Erza vs Kagura vs Minerva! Next week is going to be so epic! :D
