Deus Ex Machina of Lector "saved"(I can see either dead or alive)

It ain't DX simply cuz it was a factor we were aware of from before the incident.

and the introduction of another "unstoppable" group that in the past has been undefeated. Yeah until now >.> There has been Oracion Seis(twice if we're counting the anime), Grimoire, Sabertooth, and now these asshats. C'mon Hiro, you can be more creative can't you?

Well, most of them have been hyped by themselves, though you are mostly correct, but no reason to assume it's the same with the new ones. These new ones haven't been stated to be "da best", only the strongest executors of the kingdom, so no reason to "anti-hype" yourself like that. Sit back and enjoy ;)

As for the characterization of Sting, I'm just a little irked of how he's a little pissy teen who overestimated his own skills and was stupidly cocky just to get owned and now with the power of"feelings" he's leveled up. Wish he was written better. There are ways to make unlikable characters not irritating.

Which unfortunately is not a quality of FT's villains. Unfortunately the power of feelings is a definitive factor of this manga, but it's a good thing that this time it's not limited to just FT but it expanded to ST as well.

This arc is probably gonna have another structure similar to Tenro Island with Fairy Tail supposedly coming out with everyone intact just in time for the Dragon Festival to rape everyone in the face as we've been foreshadowed.

Most propably, but hopefully this time it will help take the story to the next stage.

I think Minerva is just lying.

And I hope the Wolves will give a decent fight to FT.

@Gash,Darklight

Then again she might use Lecter's life as a form of blackmail to trigger Sting's nakama-sense in order for him to grow stronger. It seems to me that having Lecter locked somewhere, showing him to Sting in order to tease him is much more favorable than just lying (assuming that she wants Sting to gorw stronger) and it also leaves a window open for Sting to join FT since Natsu might as well show up and help him save the cat.

Minerva is quite ruthless, isn't she? XD Mildly surprised to find that Lecter is still alive, it goes to show you can never predict what's going to happen in Fairy Tail. Well, I can't anyway. That is to say, if he genuinely is alive, for all we know it could be a lie on Minerva's part.

I was quite excited by the ending, I'm looking forward to seeing the Hungry Wolves in action.

I like to see more of the Princess though, I want to know what she's thinking. Oh well, we'll find out eventually I'm sure. ^.^

She is not ruthless, she is devious. A devious bitch.

Indeed, the only thing that's usually predictable in FT are the end results of battles.

I think Lector is dead. Why would such a ass save a cat, while acting in such a manner towards her father. (If he actually is her father. I'm not 100% on that one)

Agreed. She's lying and the moment the truth comes out Sting will probably kill her lol

It would be funny is his reaction and attack/method of attacking, were the same as against Genma.

I stand corrected, devious is the more appropriate term. =)

I too am not convinced that the Sabertooth master is Minerva's father. She probably wants to motivate Sting to go all out so Sabertooth will win. Albeit, she is doing all of this in an underhanded manner.

I'm sure she'll get her comeuppance eventually. ^^

I agree as well over the outcome of battles being predictable.

Well I see Sting beating someone strong. Not sure who though...

I doubt they would hype him up and all for no reason.

I'm really interested in Kagura's character. I hope she gets more action. Erza should fight Kagura.

A fight I REALLY want to see is Minerva vs Kagura. It has a slight chance of occuring. But Erza vs Kagura is alot more reasonable. After all, Kagura now things Erza is hiding Jellal, and all that.

I wish Gildarts would have participated. He'd oneshot everyone. >:

This isn't the same one I saw, but I just found it while looking for the other. Around 2:00  or so they ask him what other genre would he like to do and he say "love story"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNuvsWpfOe0

I'll keep looking for the other though, because in that one he made it seem as though he actually planned on doing it.

EDIT: I watched that one all the way through and he also mentions a "complex character" that holds the key to the entire manga. This was a year ago, so imagine it's getting pretty close to that point.

That proves nothing. Recent tweets from him said that this is only the halfway point of the series >~>

Sting learns from Minerva that Lector is alive(I believe that b*tch is lying) and has nakama power now XD

The Wolves appear and they seem interesting.

Cute Mira and Yukino moment(also Nalu moment ?).
