Hmm, as far as the end is concerned, you're all taking it for a fact Zeref is the main antagonist, but while he is 'demonised' and does serious shit, he also seems open to the good side, like he has his own reasons and he wants a change for the better (natsu getting stronger, I'm guessing he wants to put Acnologia down for good, and that he regreted that action of morphing the initial human into a dragon.)



Also, there's a pattern in FT that allows all wizards to turn on the good side throughout the series, it's kinda like the 'bad people can't use magic' principle, so my fair guess is that there's a very good reason for Zeref and that there's a bigger mastermind behind all the trouble going on. Also, FT with his story could last forever. The daimatou could become a traditional event for showing guild strength and it can be like Pokemon... New or recycled powers, new or recycled characters in the same world fighting to be the best mage.

No no you missed what I was refering as a factor.



First things first :DX simply put is something that comes out of nowhere only to serve the hero(or generally some character, but mostly the hero) so as to get him out of some kind of seemingly desperate and impossible situation. A glorious example of DX is Hades' heart. Another DX would be in Black Lagoon that abandoned ship in the first chapters that allowed the party to make the jump(I'm refering to that cuz if I'm not mistaken your avatar is Rock, right?)



What I was refering as a factor was Minerva's abilities. We have seen her being able to warp stuff. So basically she simply used her powers to manipulate Sting into  doing her bidding (w/e that is for the momment). So it's not a DX, it's simply part of Minerva's character (and in a world full of magic I consider it highly realistic for mages to use their powers beyond battles in order to fulfill their purposes). Hence my reply.



PS: I don't consider it hating when people use their heads to come up with decent arguements.



Ah okay, I totally forgot what Minerva's abilities were. In my case, I thought she was still an unknown so from my point of view her saving Lecter would've been a DX since I thought they hadn't shown her powers. Regardless though, they did show her powers when she beat Lucy in that water bubble and I just forgot haha.

I won't stop reading, but I will be really annoyed. The only person I could see him beating is juvia or a worn out gray.

Thx  but dont you think chances of Gray going after sting are low? since the fights have already been predicted by the master so she might have told him as for Juvia i dont know she has been made weak.Right now the only fight i am looking forward to is Erza vs Kagura or Minerva and this is surprisingly the reason i like fairy tail they dont make women weak xD.

I don't get it why the manga is trying to make stings come back though that lector cat   if  sting or the other dragon slayer beats any of the fairy tail members i will stop reading manga no way someone gets strong just because their friends got killed.Anyway nice to see we have a new team to test natsus power out maybe this new group will give him a challege.

Yes, my point was including Darklight's assumption that since DS were created by dragons then GS by gods(a new fraction similar to dragons for no apparent reason, since like you said with tartaros, we already have a huge cast before us). Also, I said, that I wouldn't be surpirsed if there was no particular explanation for the origins of Lost magic(in which GS belong), and just leave it as something that simply exists and is simply superior and more rare that normal magic.

1)It was first said the sabertooths's master recruited 5 powerful members

(why would he recruit his own daughter so late)

2)Minerva speaks in a unusual/formal manner. So calling Genma "father" could have been out of respect.

3)They look nothing alike. Nothing at all. 0% resemblance.

^Why should we assume that all the GS originate from a single group, like the DS. To me it seems that the GS are being, so far at least, portrayed as a sub-group of lost magic that the few experts have grasped (e.g. Hades). If we are to question so much about the GS then where did Ultear's magic came from? GS might as well be explained as something that was developed over the course of years(without giving too much attention as to how and who). DS is the important factor here and not so much the GS.
