I'm sick of all the bad stuff happening to my favorite Character, if its crappy, it happens to Zero!  This chapter pushed it to far! There are 4 people that know this happened to Zero and not one of them cares. The headmaster even cut Yuki off mid explanation with " I don't have time to deal with that right now" are you friggin' kidding me??

It beats me too, hino just too bias to him. Hino wants us to fall victim to sympathise zero?

But you can say that same thing about Kaname too, with the whole "Oh every shitty and cruel thing I've done to others was just to protect you Yuuki, 'cuz I'm so lonely *cue swooning Kaname/Yume fans*, so that makes it all okay right?"

Dear Yuuki, you're a SLUT. Sorry for misunderstanding you.

Also, Kaname, sorry for misunderstanding you too, you aren't that bad after all...

Although I can't describe how sad I am, after being attatched to Vampire Knight and being a Zero - Zeki fan, I'm just tearing up by just reading this chapter...

It's just that Yuuki acted like such a big slut towards Zero, she was the one that made him wanna hold on to his life and she actually did this thing... Basically and theoretically speaking he has no reason to live now. At least he would think that way, I would never believe that Zero has no reason to live...

Pffft, fml, I'm so sad and angry. Anyways.

I really hated this chapter - Like seriously hated it and I waited until I had time at night to devote to reading it and did not check spoilers and I was just hit with true disappointment in every way.

I am ready for Yuuki and Kaname to die together and Zero to rebuild his life and this manga to be over,  sorry this manga has really disappointed me,  even the sex and love scene in this was badly done - it's just like dead, no romance feeling at all to the art in it just seemed dry and passionless and I know she can actually draw very well,  but she drew really badly for those scenes.  If the mangaka had done a better job she could have made me feel the romance between them, cause it's not like I hate Kaname,   but she did it really badly,  was that even a bed scene, it was like nothing.

And the love scene in this is not even written really nicely and lovingly and sexily for Kaname fans either, it's just sad and bittersweet, but not romantic,   seriously I was hoping for a lot more of a love scene than just an allusion to the two of them in bed badly drawn.    I don't think the mangaka was at her best here, cause the rest of it is at least drawn really well, but that part is not.  She could have done a few more pages for the Kaname fans to enjoy but there isn't anything even for them to enjoy here, it's like sour.

If it was going to be Kaname, then why bother us by having kiss scenes with Zero just to turn it around like this.    It was a real slap in the face to all us Zero fans, but I guess it frees Zero.

The only good things in this chapter were:     Zero forgetting Yuuki,      Aidou's father not being dead and reuniting with Aidou    ( who was one of my favorite characters and hasn't even shown himself much lately )   and finding out that Kaname wasn't that bad.

However, I have no good feelings for Yuuki at all hurting everyone close to her, including the man who raised her and she just calls him some impersonal title, seemed really cold and disrespectful to the man who raised her as a father and her best friend Zero.   Just horrible personality.

Sorry I guess I hope the only way this manga can redeme itself now is to become a true dark tragedy.

The first half of this manga before she turned was just SOOOOO much better than after,  I thought it would redeme itself but it's just become a convulted mess.

And this was my very very favorite manga at one time.....

And Yuuki has gone from being a spunky girl to one of the characters I hate in manga, like I seriously wished Zero would  pull the trigger and shoot her there.

I just seriously want the deaths to start if this is going to be a tragedy   then I am hoping Yuuki dies  or they go to the furnace together or something tragic,  and it becomes a really bloody massacre  -   if it is going to go down, it should go down epically with a real bloodbath instead of this slow descent into become manga that goes bad.   The only way the mangaka  can make it good now is to have them act like REAL vampires and hunters.      Let the deaths begin.

Of course this is my opinion since I am a Zero fan, but I don't enjoy this like I used to.

snipped You think I'm the one with the shipping glasses? I admit I have them but you're the same. I'd choose "But I'm a vampire." which is her usual cop-out when Zero has clearly shown he doesn't care about that anymore. Again the change of killing and make him human is a case of 'Kaname obsession' syndrome mixed with her immature idiocy as obviously he can't deserve death, no he should just become a human cause that makes total sense. Zero didn't draw the Bloody Rose on him either does this mean Zero loves Kaname? No, it doesn't as the party is supposed to be a neutral zone.

I assume the last bit is to excuse Kaname's taking advantage of her mental state. I never though that he read her mind to get that. Look at her reactions add to that what she has done to Zero and duh its obvious she's not going to be in a good mental state, so he would have to be a moron not to notice. And his great plan to help her decide who to love is what? To sleep with him, yeah cause this makes soooooo much sense.

"Yuuki is a bright, beautiful, strong young woman." I agree she could be all 3 unfortunately she's only 1 out of 3 at the moment.

Bright subtractors:

-Erased Zero's memories of the human Yuuki to try and ease his pain

-Accepts that Kaname has killed people as if its nothing big.

-She tosses Zero's loyalty to her aside as if it means little

-Goes to Kaname when her mind is completely unstable in ch. 89

    -Proceeds to sleep with Kaname

Strong subtractors:

-Constantly runs back to Kaname to be coddled

-If actually stands up to Kaname next chance she gets reverses it and caves to him

-She easily shifts from wanting to stop Kaname back to obsession mode because he didn't happen to kill one person but has others.

Yuuki has shown signs of being able to grow up whenever she gets the h*ll away from Kaname. He is a poison to her as she will never mature with him there to constantly coddle her rather than to tell her when she does wrong or let her deal with the situations she causes.

You're tone is being really rude, I never implied you had shipping glasses on in that post nor was I even addressing you personally it was a general post meant for everyone on this forum. That comment was meant for Zeki fans in general because some of them do wear shipping glasses and refuse to see things from a different perspective.

Clearly you're bent on seeing Yuuki as an "obsessed" Kaname fangirl. Have you ever even considered that she may love him? You do know the saying love is blind right? And if she's obsessed simply because of the fact that she can forgive him, then you are clearly obsessed with Zero because the way you talk about him he's a saint. You also seem to be bent on seeing Kaname as a manipulative guy who just wants to take advantage of Yuuki. Of course he knows that she's upset but like I stated I don't think that she's upset just because of Zero like Kaname probably believes her to be. If you even read my post then you would see I'm presenting the idea that maybe she loves Kaname more and has chosen him but Kaname who doesn't know this believes she loves Zero more and she just doesn't realize it, thus he wants to make her see that, not make her decide who she loves. Kaname already THINKS he knows who she loves.

"Bright subtractors":

- Well it worked didn't it? He's not dying of thirst anymore or in danger of falling to Level E. Was it cruel because he didn't want them taken? Yes. But was it a smart idea as well as a kindness because now he doesn't have to suffer? Yes.

- It's called forgiveness. You want the exact definition of it?

Forgiveness - "disposition or willingness to forgive."

Forgive - "to grant pardon for or remission of (an offense, debt, etc.); absolve."

Absolve - "to free from guilt or blame or their consequences"

Straight from dictionary.com

- She hasn't tossed his loyalty aside as if it means little, would she be upset about erasing his memories if it meant so little to her? She wanted to help him. She erased his memories for the same reason she wants to turn Kaname human, because she cares about them.

- She didn't go to Kaname, Kaien brought her there and left her there. Where else was she supposed to go after that? Back to Zero? He doesn't remember her. I also think you're forgetting that she has been trying to catch Kaname, that was her goal when she left with Zero. What did you think they were just going on a friendly outting? And now that he's finally right before her eyes you just want her to leave and let him escape again when a chance like this probably won't present itself again.

- Yes but as I stated above perhaps she does in fact love Kaname more than Zero and has chosen him back about 2 chapters ago. It's possible, a possibility that would make it perfectly fine to sleep with him and a possibility that you don't even seem to consider.

"Strong subtractors":

- Kaname does not coddle her, I'm sick of you using that word. He is overprotective (understandable considering the first woman he loved sacrificed herself) but that isn't the same as coddling, he allows her freedom and also reprimands her as seen in one of the examples I posted earlier where he is scolding Yuuki and Aido for opening the door.

- I gave you several examples where she stood up to him without caving to him. Did you even bother to look at them?

- As I said above it's called forgiveness. If you can't forgive someone you shouldn't even consider being in a relationship with them.

I feel as though you are so fixated on your own opinions you don't even consider anyone else's nor do I feel as though you read my posts, more like skim them.

Dafuq!!!!! Now its your turn to go away 'YUKI' far away for everyone's bliss!!!

Yeah!

This Manga will certainly turn into a Wannabe-Confusing-Two-timer Josei or something

else (sarcasm)!

Yet I will keep reading for that the manga ends soon (i hope).

Wow did not expect a sex scene just like that, it was quite a turn off. Kaname and Yuki seriously look and act more like sibling, rather than passionate lovers, it was just awkward to watch :v They even looked just as stone cold as ever lol, shouldn't this be a little more umm fun or hot? Sigh

Zero's purpose in the story is to cater to girls who like this kind of cool tsundere world on your shoulders tragic character =P Kaname's purpose is the love story element provided and for girls who like sweet and lonely characters you just want to hug forever. Fans fall in love with either of them through Yuuki's interaction.

Yuuki's purpose is to let Zero fans have some satisfaction by connecting to him, and also for Kaname fans to have satisfaction with her connection to him as well.

It is a well crafted plot catered to make us fangirl nonstop til the end, that is for sure. Look at each time Yuuki goes back to Zero, it's not because she's a bitch and forgotten about Kaname, it's a device used to give some love to Zero fangirls. Nothing more =p

Hino's discrete way of saying "I haven't forgotten about you" but in the end the plot is hers, just as Kaname is her choice of male protagonist and partner to the main character Yuuki. It's been obvious to me since the start that Zero appeals to mass western fangirls of this manga, and I'm not sure who the Japanese girls prefer, maybe someone can educate me on that if they had a popularity poll or such... so it's unfortunate that Hino's preferred choice doesn't cater to alot of western girls who follow this series.

And as I've said before Zero's part is as much a 'love story' as Kaname's is, saying anything else is purely bias b.s. Oh and you left out some words in that description of Kaname namely: lying, manipulating, controlling, and objectifying. Are you trying to say eastern fangirls want these traits cause I can't imagine anyone wanting them? As I state further down my friend proves this to be false. I honestly don't understand how you or anyone else can try to romanticize controlling or objectifying someone. This isn't a bash on Kaname so much as it is that I can't imagine anyone wanting especially these 2 things. I will never try to have someone dress how I want them to, have their hair like I want it, or anything else as I respect them as a living being with rights and a personality of their own. I would have fallen for them because of who they are so why would I wish to change this? (this isn't me asking as a Zeki person but just as a person as I truly do not get it)

*cough*  and western males *cough*  though in my case I relate to Zero a lot more than I do for Kaname, who has certain traits I just can't like but this is my opinion.

And just so you know this "it's a device used to give some love to Zero fangirls. Nothing more =p" can easily apply to Kaname as well, obviously substituting 'Kaname fangirls' instead of 'Zero fangirls' . She goes back to Zero because she loves him the same as she loves Kaname, to say otherwise is pure bias b.s.

Personal preference shouldn't affect the story, it should just be whatever way the story develops. I could honestly care less where the story goes but I hope someone worthy (Maria) steps up to the plate for Zero if Yuuki does die or w/e.

I have a friend thats from the 'east' and she can't stand Kaname (neutral on Zero) so obviously this isn't as simple as east and west. Its a matter of what values you hold in high regard and who you relate to/fantasize about.

Any so to speak thorns in this post is from degrading Zero or Zeki and this is me still being restrained.
