He felt the need to be cautious around this person.

I was hooked from the first chapter. I haven't read the first book but I will, as soon as I am done with this review. Tuttle so beautifully combined two tropes that I love gender-bending and transmigration/ rebirth. This book is chefs kiss, I want to see more of Hiro.

Each twist and surprise kept me on edge, making it hard to stop reading. The prose is both lyrical and straightforward, painting vivid images that draw you into the author's world.

truthfully your book has got me hooked. it told with a very relaxing style of narractive. Opal is a very nice character, and from what I have seen presently, a simple one (as of now). can't wait to see her growth as a character.    though I want to know if she gets a love interest. but a nice book. kudos author
