    The text is quite brief and adorable. The moment where ML confesses his feelings to MC was unexpectedly sweet, considering up till that point, it seemed like MC's affection was one-sided. It would have been nice if the author delved deeper into their developing relationship beforehand, but the eventual coupling was satisfying. There's a minor inconsistency, as the story suggests that even though MC has transformed into a human, he still has a lifespan longer than regular humans. This contradicts the explanation about the tree spirit turning fully human within half a year. Despite this, overall, it's an enjoyable read.

    This book was an absolute delight; I found it incredibly enjoyable. It's filled with all sorts of delightful elements – cuteness, sweetness, and an abundance of charm! I couldn't help but devour every page – it was just too irresistible. Xiao Tong, oh Xiao Tong, he's the epitome of innocence, like a precious little宝贝. His charm and purity tugs at my heartstrings.     Wow, why aren't there more novels like this? It was incredibly adorable, beyond words to express. I fell in love with the story from the start. The protagonist, or shou, was just too precious; I wished I could bring him home and nurture him, he was that charming. Initially innocent, his intelligence shone through as he learned quickly.

    The male lead (ML) also captured my heart - not your typical overbearing type, but a likable and friendly character. Their dynamic together was delightful to read.

    I particularly enjoyed the scenes where our little tree character would crouch by a tree, dreaming of digging a hole to replant himself, it was such an endearing touch.

    I wholeheartedly recommend this novel – every page had me grinning with joy.
