A town where its past conventions prevented the youth from changing.
An outsider who will be changed despite these restrictions.

17-year-old Hashiba Edwards has never studied in the same school for longer than 2 years. This is because his family is constantly moving around the country due to his father\'s job. He and his mother had gotten used to it. However, due to such a short amount of time spent in each place, Hashiba has never managed to develop any meaningful connection with other people his age. But now it was the first time ever that Hashiba and his family found themselves in the countryside in a small town, which was still bounded by past conventions that were preventing its youth from changing, yet Hashiba himself was starting to find changes in this place that would alter his life for better or worse.

It is in this town that Hashiba will meet people who will change his perspective on life. As well as a boy who is running the school\'s movie club and also shares striking resemblances to a character in a popular novel that has been going around.

MC is witty and funny, as expected coming from the most unhinge author (its a compliment). Nice start, will continue to read it again soon!

Incidentally, when you get into these gray-area titles, there seems to be no consensus on whether they should be in quotation marks or italics. I'm using italics. Partly because they are longer than short stories, but mostly because book publishers generally italicize them so that they appear to be full-fledged novels.
